    Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

    We are happy to announce the 2026 race! There are some important things to know about the race, in order that all athletes, family, friends, and event staff can experience a fun event.

    • DUE TO SAFETY CONCERN FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS WALKERS WILL START IMMEDIATELY AFTER RUNNERS

    • RUNNERS WILL START AT 9:00 am

    • Trophies and medals will be awarded after the race. You'll pickup your award near the pavilion by showing your finisher's receipt/time/and age group placement.

    Parking is at the Lake Marcia Boathouse parking lot. This is the main parking lot located on the right side of the road approximately 3/4 of a mile after you have exited Rt 23.

    No free shirts can be given away after 4/10/2026. The order is made and finalized.

    This race will occur at High Point State Park. The run will involve lots of hills, including up to the monument.

    The run will occur on pavement.

    Come out and support the future healthcare professionals of Vernon Township High School.

    The race starts in the dumpster lot near a trail head. Green dot on map.

    Run left onto Park road.

    Continue up to the High Point monument and loop back down.

    Runners will enter the monument parking lot and do one lap in the direction of traffic.

    Stay on the left hand side of the road using cones or yard signs as markers.

    Runners will descend from the monument on the road and make a left onto Scenic Drive.

    Run Scenic drive to the end.

    Make a right onto the main road form Scenic drive.

    Runners will cross Park road. There will be a race volunteer to guide runners. Race in progress sign will be posted.

    Continue on the left hand side of Park road, back towards the start.

    Make a left into the start/finish area. Green dot on map.

    On-course water will be supplied.

    CertifiedNJ24025JLW 1.000 miles flat loop on pavement and crushed gravel (approx 5% gravel)

    Course is EXACTLY a 1 mile loop, with a special start line for a Marathon or 50K finish.

    72 Hour race begins at 9:00 am on Thursday Morning (option for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday also)

    48 Hour race begins at 9:00 am on Friday Morning (option for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday also)

    24 Hour race begins at 9:00 am on Saturday Morning (option for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday also)

    12 Hour race begins at 9:00 am Saturday Morning or 9:00pm on Saturday Evening (option for Mon., Tues., Wed., Thurs., Fri. also)

    Runners must start at the appropriate time. We used to allow custom starts times. We will not be allowing this anymore. Marathon or 50K can begin with 144H, 72H, 48H, 24H, 12H or 6H race and must be finished by the time the next race starts.

    RUN FOR FREE

    Any runner that hits the USATF Qualifying Standards in either the 24 hour or in the 24-hour split in the 48 Hour, 72 Hour or 144 Hour events will be issued a check for the opening entry fee upon completion of the event.

    Any runner looking to hit the Qualifying Standards and / or set American Records must know and follow all USATF Rules. The Rules to pay specific attention are Rules 144, 232 and 241. USATF Rule Book

    A special area for these runners per Rule 241.2(e) will be near the Start / Finish.

    There will be 4 Different Marathons; Thursday 9:00am, Friday 9:00am, Saturday 9:00am and Saturday 9:00pm

    Run ANY 2 Marathons for $175 until November 30.

    Run ANY 3 Marathons for $225 until November 30.

    QUADZILLA - Run ALL 4 Marathons for $275 until November 30.

    December 1 until January 31 – All races increase $25

    February 1 until March 31– All races increase another $25

    April 1 until May 8– All races increase another $25

    After May 8 online registration closes.
