The Holiday Hustle at Paul Anderson Park is a 5k, 10k, and running event held on Friday, November 28, 2025. It is located at 626 East Tugalo Street in Toccoa, Georgia.
Mark your calendars and let’s kick off the holiday weekend with a bang at the START line, Saturday, July 4 at 7:30 AM! Registration costs $35 from 4/1 until 6/20, then $45 from 6/21 through 7/3, and $50 cash or Venmo on race day. Please try to register early as we will have very limited registration on race day. Lake Rabun Road closes at 7:00 AM from Piney Point to Tame Turkey and reopens after the race. Parking is extremely limited, so please carpool if possible. Net proceeds go to the Lake Rabun Foundation, a fund of the North Georgia Community Foundation. The LRF provides scholarships to Rabun County students and grants to local organizations involved with education, child and family welfare, food ministries, environmental programs, and community development. Get ready to kick off 4th of July with a bang at the Firecracker 5K at Chickasaw Point! Whether you are a seasoned runner or a leisurely stroller, you can enjoy a picturesque tree-lined route featuring Lake Hartwell and Chickasaw Point Golf Course. Your friends and family can join you on the course or celebrate with the 4th of July morning festivities!
Hosted by Chickasaw Point community and open to the public this is a fun way locals and visitors in Upstate South Carolina can enjoy Independence Day together.

Event Schedule:
7:45am: Opening Prayer, National Anthem
8:00am: 5K Start
8:15am: 1-Miler Start
9:00am: Little Tikes (2-3 year olds), Kids Fun Run (4 year olds and up). Parents choose which is best for child.
10:00am: 5K Top Finisher Awards, Oldest & Youngest runner recognition
Fundraiser
All proceeds and donations will go towards covering the cost of the Firecracker 5K event and to fundraising efforts to support the amenities of Chickasaw Point. All staff associated with producing this event are volunteers from the Chickasaw Point community.

The 2025 Lake Burton Fun Run will take place on July 5th (Saturday of the fireworks)!
The gun goes off at 9AM sharp at Moccasin Creek State Park, so please give yourself ample time to park at Laprade's Marina and grab a shuttle (hay ride) to the starting line. Car-pooling and boat travel is STRONGLY encouraged. We'll see you at the starting line!

Come join us in beautiful Clarkesville for a 5K and/or a 3K! You may walk or run these events. Well-mannered dogs are welcomed. All events will be part of the AAA Health Series, Black Bag Series, and Clover Glove Series.

OLYMPIC: 1.5K SWIM, 42K BIKE, 10K RUN
SPRINT: 500 YARD SWIM, 14 MILE BIKE, 5K RUN
Club Team Competition - In order for you club to be recognized when registering you must provide your club team name or create a club team. A club team must consist of three or more participants. All members must be registered for the same distance. A club may have as many teams as they want. Individuals will race both in the team club category and as an age group participant. Team winners will be calculated based on points earned for age group finish position.
