The Fall Foliage race has taken place in Waynesboro for over 40 years. The course takes you on a brisk fall run through the charming neighborhoods and a scenic riverside greenway path. Fall is a beautiful time in the Shenandoah Valley and the perfect time for this family friendly race. Your registration includes aid stations along the course, finish line refreshments, and a post-race awards ceremony. Each participant will also receive a custom finishers medal and a long sleeve race shirt.

    Stacey's Run is a 5K race which takes place at the beautiful Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton VA. This annual event will take place on April 11, 2026, with a 1/2-mile Fun Run and the 5K beginning promptly at 10:00AM. This is always a fun- filled event with spectacular surroundings such as the Duck Pond, miniature train, baseball fields and playgrounds. At the conclusion of the 5K there will be door prizes, trophies and awards. Light refreshments will also be available. The proceeds from this event goes to the DeHaven Fund which awards annual scholarships to students with financial need pursuing college degrees. Gather your family and friends and join us for a day of fun!

    Come support the Western Albemarle community and the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department who serves the 14,000 citizens of Crozet and the surrounding areas of Afton Mountain, Ivy, Whitehall and Batesville.

    The Crozet Volunteer Fire Dept. (CVFD) has proudly served the Crozet and surrounding community since 1910. CVFD is a hybrid station comprised of approximately 45 operational volunteer members and a crew of Albemarle County career firefighters. Our volunteers respond to over 1,000 calls annually, covering an area over 147 square miles.

    Join us for the First Annual Run Recover Rise 5k located in Spruce Creek Park on Glenthorne Loop! This out-and-back run starts at the park entrance and follows the paved path toward Rockfish Valley Highway. Located at the base of the mountains, runners will wind through trees and open fields, getting the best views of the beautiful Nelson County! This is the perfect event for experienced runners, new runners, or those wanting to support the community and get in some steps.

    Each registrant will receive a race t-shirt. Additional shirts will be available for purchase the day of the event. To ensure you receive your preferred size shirt, please register before April 5th. Those registering after April 5th cannot be guaranteed their preferred size.

    Registration closes April 19, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Price will increase to $40 after March 27th. $50.00 day-of registration is available on site, but only checks will be accepted. Student Discount available when registering.

    Awards will be provided to first place winners of the following age groups:

    • 15 and under

    • 16-19 female and male

    • 20-29 female and male

    • 30-40 female and male

    • Over 40

    This event is sponsored and supported by the following community partners: Nelson County Recovery Court, Nelson County Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney, Nelson County Sheriff's Office, and Nelson County Victim Witness Program. Funds raised during this 5k will support community development and resources with the Nelson County Recovery Court and Sheriff's Office.
