    Come and join five area non-profits as they sponsor the 5th annual Clio Can Do 5K. The 5K Run and Walk starts and finishes at Pride Stadium at Clio High school. The course is relatively flat course that includes running on Vienna Township roads and ending at the 50 yard line at Pride Stadium. Medals and tech t-shirt are guaranteed for all Runners/Walkers registered two weeks prior to the race date.

    Course: Paved, flat course with sections going through Vienna Township and ending on the Pride Stadium football field. Starts and finishes at Clio High School.

    Registration: Registration and Packet Pickup Friday, July 17th at Pride Stadium at Clio High School from 5 to 7:00.

    Race Day (Saturday July 18) starting at 7:30 AM at Pride Stadium at Clio High School.

    REGISTER FOR THE RACE IN TWO WAYS: Economy and All Inclusive.

    Economy: $15--Receive a bib, race food, and qualify for the age level and overall awards.

    All Inclusive: $27 (ADULT) & $22 (18 AND UNDER)--Economy option + race t-shirt + race medal

    MARCH 1: THE PRICE WILL BUMP UP RESPECTIVELY TO $20 (ECONOMY), $32 (ADULT) & $27 (18 AND UNDER) UNTIL THE DAY OF THE RACE.

    DAY OF THE RACE: THE PRICE WILL INCREASE $5 TO $25 (ECONOMY), $37 (ADULT) & $32 (18 AND UNDER).

    ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A MEDAL IF REGISTERED BY SUNDAY, JULY 5TH. EXTRA MEDALS WILL BE ORDERED TO PURCHASE THE DAY OF THE RACE, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

    The Train To Trails Half Marathon and 5K is produced by Eastside Racing Company and Move It Fitness.

    Come join us for this inaugural event as we make the trek from Millington to Columbiaville on the beautiful and tranquil Southern Link Trailway. This flat, paved trailway traverses wooded areas and farmland in what is sure to lead to PRs galore!

    Half Marathon Course

    The point to point half marathon route will start in Millington taking runners on a scenic tour of this small Michigan town before jumping on the Southern Link Trailway. The trailway is paved and goes through beautiful wooded areas and farmland before crossing over the Flint River to finish at the quaint town of Columbiaville where runners will receive a well deserved Michigan welcome.

    Half Marathon Shuttle

    Shuttle service will be for half marathon runners and will start loading at 6:45 am in front of the Columbiaville Community Center. The final shuttle will depart by 7:45 am. The shuttle busses will depart when they are full. If you want to guarantee a timely arrival at the start area do not wait until 7:45 am. There will be a coffee truck with coffee and other goodies for purchase, music and bathrooms at the start area. We will have a gear drop as well.

    5K Course

    The 5K course will start and finish at the Columbiaville Community Center. This will be an out and back on the Southern Link Trailway. Athletes will park in one of the designated parking areas in town, pick up packets and start/finish all in one central location.

    Pace

    Runners of all abilities are welcome to join in the half marathon. OFFICIAL COURSE CLOSURE AT 18 MINUTE PER MILE PACE: Half marathon runners and relay runners must be able to complete each mile in a 18-minute (sub 4 Hour) pace or faster.

    Start location for Half Marathon

    Millington Library, 8530 Depot St, Millington, MI 48746. There will be porta johns available in the start area along with music to get you grooving and ready to run!

    Finish location for Half Marathon and 5K

    Columbiaville Community Center, 4620 Water St, Columbiaville, MI 48421. The community center sits at the end of the Trailway and right on the water, a perfect ending to what is sure to be a perfect morning!

    *There will be no relay for 2026

    This is a "cupless" event. What does that mean?

    Runners will need to carry a personal hydration pack and/or purchase a Hydrapak Speedcup during registration at the course aid stations. Personal hydration packs and bottles can be refilled with either water or hydration mix at the aid stations.

    There will be NO single use cups available. We are trying to eliminate excess trash at our event. We thank you for your cooperation and planning to help achieve this goal.

    5k course starts on Hegel Road in front of Goodrich High School. This year we expect to be back to our traditional route with a track finish.

    5k start time is 8:30 AM. Overall winners and course records will be based off of gun time. Age group awards will be based off of chip time.

    1/2 Mile start time is 9:30 AM.

    Race course is open to traffic so participants are asked to move to the right as soon as possible.

    Calling all runners, walkers, amblers, and wanderers to the woods and fields of Almont’s beautiful Camp Skyline. Skyline boasts 200 acres, including the highest point in Lapeer County. Welcome to the second annual Campfire 5K!

    The 5k race starts at 9 a.m, with the 1 mile race starting shortly after at 9:10 a.m.. Packet pickup/Registration begins at 8:15 a.m.

    The Routes

    Both the 1 mile and 5k courses will include wooded trails, fields, and a private dirt road. No public roads are in use as part of the event.

    While we do enjoy seeing your furry friends, no dogs will be allowed at this event.

    Strollers and wheelchairs/walkers can be used at your own risk - please be advised the routes do include steep inclines/declines, as well as rocks, roots, and other natural obstructions along the trails.

    Join us for our 10th annual event!

    Ireland's Dream is a 501c3 that supports children and families living with cerebral palsy. We are building a therapy center with state of the art care that is oftentimes not covered by insurance, but will be accessible by all. We don't want financial struggles to prevent any child from getting therapy that will further their physical abilities.

    Why the Lucky Pumpkin? Because the first 20 runners to pass through the finish line get to take home a pumpkin. One of the pumpkins will win the lucky prize! Join us for the fun! Please note: You MUST be present to win the prize! The lucky winner will be announced at the awards ceremony.

    Pricing: $35 until 9/28. $40 from 9/29 to 10/4. $45 on race day. Bibs are non-transferable!

    Who are they?? They are an amazing group of people who race while pushing our special needs warriors in their "chariots"! Interested in having your warrior have their own chariot? Register for our race and then register for your warrior to have their own angel @ https://www.ainsleysangels.org/

    IMPORTANT: if you plan on having an Ainsley's Angels pusher for your warrior, you MUST first register your warrior with Ainsley's Angels AND notify them that you would like to participate in THIS race so that they will have someone available for your person.

    We will be having a special reception area for our CP warriors prior to the race!

    Packet Pickup & Race Day registration: Race day starting at 10 AM.

    Virtual Participants: If you are unable to join us in person please sign up for the virtual event. You can run/walk anytime on your own day at your own course. Shirts are available for purchase with registration thru September 23rd. After that date shirts will not be available for virtual participants. Medals and shirts (if purchased) will be mailed to you. Cost is included in your race registration fee.

    The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be available live during the race.
