13.1 Miles Run

***9/11-Race information email sent, plz check your junk folder before sending a request for a resend.

Founded in 2018, The Triboro Adventure Tour is the only race that will take you on a triple borough journey from Queens through Manhattan and the Bronx! Take a tour through South Bronx, East Harlem and Randall’s Island via the Triborough Bridge for miles of adventure starting & finishing in Astoria, Queens

Triboro - not only because you’re going through three boroughs but also up and over the Triborough Bridge to start and finish.

Adventure - as in “choose your own adventure” you can hit the checkpoints in any order you like.

Tour - you’ll get a route thru the city definitely less traveled, however no less scenic than the usual tourist traps, perfect for out of towners or nyc natives!

Truly a race against the clock, runners will need to navigate the best way they see fit for themselves to get through the course fastest. In order to successfully complete the race, you must reach the five checkpoints laid out on the map. It’s completely up to you on how you will get to each checkpoint, so race strategy and good planning will account for as much of an advantage as your pace. Total distance ~12 miles

Winners take all. Big Ca$h awards for overall male and female top finishers!

Each Finisher who completes the race will be awarded a Custom Medal and Custom Race Singlet to commemorate their journey!

FREE Beer and Pizza plus AG’s special THUNDER PUNCH post race for all finishers!!

Raffles for goody bags, beer, t-shirts, and more from our sponsors post race following overall awards.

Bib/packet pickup will be the day of race at the start location. Full information will be sent to registered racers prior to race day.

The race course is not closed to traffic. Race at your own risk.

The FDNY Foundation is proud to partner with SL Green Realty Corp. for the 4th Annual FDNY Foundation Climb to SUMMIT at One Vanderbilt in New York City on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Climbers will race up 1,100 feet in the sky to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt to highlight the importance of physical fitness for the brave FDNY firefighters, EMTs and paramedics who are always ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Funds raised will support training and fitness equipment for FDNY members.

In the last few years, firefighters had to run up 21 flights of stairs donning full bunker gear weighing upwards of 60 lbs in 70+ degree weather to rescue families trapped in a fire in a high-rise building as the elevators were inoperable. After such a strenuous climb, they then executed a lifesaving roof rope rescue on the outside of the building to save the occupants. Timing, training and physical fitness all played an integral part of the success of this life-saving incident.

One Vanderbilt anchors the modernization of Manhattan and shines like a beacon to the world with its iconic shape, setting a new standard for architecture in New York. Measuring 1,401 feet tall, One Vanderbilt is the tallest commercial skyscraper in midtown Manhattan and among the top 30 tallest buildings in the world. This momentous climb ends at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt located in the crown of the building. SUMMIT is New York’s newest and most immersive observatory experience offering a masterful blend of multisensorial art, technology, and thills amongst 360-views of the skyline.

  • Team WEPA Group 5.3 km
    [runningcrews.com] [runningcrews.com] - Facebook - Instagram

WEPA is an inspiring and motivating running movement that was founded in New York City in the summer of 2016. Their name is a powerful double entendre: it is an acronym for their core values—Work-Excel-Persevere-Achieve—and "¡Wepa!" is a popular Hispanic cultural exclamation of joy and excitement. The crew was created to inspire those intimidated by running and to help people run their very first mile. They have since cultivated a supportive "family atmosphere" where members hold each other accountable and celebrate every milestone along the way.

Their motto, "We don’t take it too serious, but we’re serious runners," sums up their approach: they focus on exploring the city together and pushing themselves, not on tracking stats.
