Spartan Trail – Monterey

Join us for this popular race at Uvas Reservoir. It's a Sprint but super-sized. Swim .75 miles in Uvas Reservoir. Bike 16.2 miles on quiet country roads. Only two climbs! Finish up with a 5 mile run. Then eat tasty food and listen to good music while waiting for the award ceremony.

Top 3 in 5-year age groups for Triathlon. Top 3 Overall for all other events. Special Youth & Senior pricing. Clydesdale & Athena waves. Non-binary/Prefer Not Say options. Relays too! AquaBike, Duathlon, Aquathlon, and OWS events also available.

Join us for the Third Annual Rotary Rainbow Run - 5k or 1k (Fun Run) on June 6th, 2026. The Rotary Rainbow Run is sponsored by the San Juan Bautista Rotary Club and all proceeds will benefit the San Benito County Esperanza Center as well as local scholarship and grants. San Juan Bautista is a small California Mission town just off Hwy 101 approximately 50 miles south of San Jose. The Rainbow Run races will start and finish on the old El Camino Real (The Alameda) with the course taking participants through the historic downtown, friendly neighborhoods, rural countryside, and the California State Park and Mission Plaza.

Show your community pride by dressing up in a fun and colorful costume! The 5K will be timed with awards, as well as Best Costume prizes will be awarded to the best dressed runner and four legged participant.

Team themes are encouraged. Please keep costumes family friendly. Come join the fun!

We will announce our Age Group Prizes at the store after the race.

Race Shirt:

If you purchased a race shirt you are guaranteed your shirt. You will be able to pick it up at any of the packet pick up dates above OR race morning! If you did not purchase a race shirt, you are not guaranteed a shirt.

Monterey Rec Trail: The starting line will be right next to the Monterey Beach Station. Parking will right next to the course.

Join us for another year of fun in the sun! At the Jolly10k you'll take a 10K or a 5K run or walk, through stunning Los Gatos mountain trails and arrive back at the finish line to enjoy fun, food and fellowship. We have informational booths, a variety of resource tables, CPR training and as always the Los Gatos Fire Dept. joins us for a group photo with the Fire Engine. We definitely have fun, but the reason we gather for the Jolly10k is to create a safe environment to have the difficult conversations about addiction and the deadly epidemic of Fentanyl that has flooded our country and stolen far too many young lives. But together, we can remember our loved ones and share life-saving information on how to prevent the next life lost from being someone in your family. Excercise, Information & Education!
