Calling all runners, walkers and four-legged friends, come out for our Annual Into the Woods 5K! This is a super family friendly race, with a unique mix of trail and road! Racers receive a race tshirt (if you sign up before 11/17) and medal; there will also be prizes for top finishers! (must sign up by 11/17 to receive a race shirt)

The TarDevil 30 Mile Bushwack is a point-to-point training run from Duke to UNC. Participants join at their own risk. The annual event is a fun run fat-ass, not affiliated with any organization and all liability is assumed by participants. The run includes many challenging sections and risks can be significant, including but not limited to permanent injury, drowning or other forms of death. (No one has died yet)

Last Year we added the 5K along with the 10K race and it was a big success so we will continue with the two races this year. If you are signing up for the Le Tour de Carrboro a three race series benefiting Carrboro Area Charities, you will need to choose to do either the 5K or the 10K as part of the series. The Carrboro 10K is 6.2 miles, the Carrboro 5K is 3.1 miles. Both races start at 8 a.m. at McDougle Middle School, wind through Carrboro neighborhoods, and finish on the McDougle track. NOTE: THE 5K RACE IS CAPPED AT 250 PARTICIPANTS SO REGISTER EARLY!
