Join us on September 13th for what we proudly call

Canada’s Most Scenic Race (Disclaimer: Self-Proclaimed).

The races will start at North Rustico's Seawalk Park, taking you down the wharf onto the Harbour Trail. You'll circle the Harbour Lighthouse and make your way up the Gulf Shore Parkway. Beware, there may be a small section running on the beach! Depending on the distance you choose, the route continues along the Gulf Shore Parkway. The half marathon turnaround point is just past the beautiful MacKenzies and MacNeills Brook Points. For those participating in the 50km Ultra Marathon, the course continues along the same path and extends into the stunning Homestead Trail loop. This is a fast course with very little elevation. All race distances return to starting point for the finish line.

Experience the beauty of rural Prince Edward Island on one of the province's most scenic running routes. The Kensington Harvest Festival Race Day is an out and back route that follows the historic Confederation Trail, offering runners a peaceful and safe journey through rolling farmlands, wooded sections and wide-open landscapes.

Beginning just south of Kensington, the course heads south along the well-maintained crushed stone trail, with 95% of the route on a smooth, unpaved surface that's easy on the legs and ideal for runners seeking a comfortable, natural running experience. Gentle curves and long straightaways allow runners to settle into a steady rhythm while taking in panoramic views. The course is predominantly flat with gradual rolling sections, making it an excellent opportunity for first-time half marathoners chasing a personal milestone, as well as experienced runners looking to set a personal best! With minimal road crossings and virtually no vehicle traffic, runners can focus entirely on the challenge and the scenery.

Well stocked water stations are positioned throughout the course to keep runners well hydrated and energized, while enthusiastic volunteers and supporters provide encouragement along the way. as you approach the finish, the excitement builds, culminating in a memorable Harvest Festival celebration where friends, family and fellow runners gather to cheer everyone across the finish line.

Whether you're running your first race or adding another finish to your collection, the Kensington Harvest Festival Race Day offers the perfect blend of fast running, island hospitality, and breathtaking countryside!

Just Live Events Inc. is hosting it’s

4th Annual Just Live Fun Run.

Register for our in-person or virtual event options today!

Join us August 23, 2026, which happens to be just days after the five year Cancer-versary date of Michelle, My Journey to Just Live's, diagnosis with Stage 4 Incurable Cancer. Michelle was diagnosed in 2021 with an ultra rare Sarcoma cancer called Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma, EHE for short. Michelle has innumerable tumours throughout her body and has made it her mission to chase joy and Just Live!

She started running in January 2022, 5 months postpartum, and 4 months post diagnosis; she never had run before. Her goal was to set herself up for success, and was hopeful for the best possible outcome to tackle this bleak cancer diagnosis. Michelle has run in countless running events, even half marathons, including one in London, England raising funds for EHE UK Charity. Michelle, with the support of her husband Ty, challenged herself in 2024, and became a triathlete. You can see Michelle's latest documentary, "The Journey Home," where she completed a 126km personal triathlon and took us on a personal journey to redefine a day that a rare sarcoma cancer once stolen from her. Each year just gets better and better!

As we rally in support of those affected by EHE cancer, the Just Live Fun Run is an opportunity to meet your body where its at with a personal healthy living goal, choosing hard and chasing joy. With community and movement at the heart of this unique day, it is a time to step up, show support and celebrate together!

The in-person 5km Run and 10km Run will be chip timed. Timing services provided by Atlantic Chip Sport Timing. This year’s route will be the same as 2025, with the start and finish ending at the Cornwall Civic Center.
