The Tri My Best Triathlon is an adaptive swim, bike and run event hosted by Tri My Best, a local nonprofit supporting the special needs community. At this event you will find adaptive bikes made to support individuals with varying disabilities, a therapeutic pool experience with swim instructors and a space to run, walk or ride. We have a team of volunteers who are eager to assist, cheer and encourage your athlete through every step!

What you should bring:

  • Personal mobility equipment: walkers, gait trainers, wheelchairs

  • Adaptive bike (if owned)

  • Swim equipment (floats, life jackets, etc.)

What we will have:

  • Buddies to partner with your athlete

  • Adaptive bikes

  • Physical and Occupational therapy team for transfers

  • Light snacks/water for athletes

  • Swag bag (including t-shirt for those registered before t-shirt deadline)

In its second year, the run includes venues all across the southeast, with races scheduled in Atlanta, Nashville, Huntsville, and Knoxville.

    The run is produced by Run Rhino. A Chattanooga-based company known for putting on unique races and events, including 7 Bridges Marathon, Scenic City Mud Run, the Caffeine Run, the World Run, and the Southeastern Santa Hustle Race Series.

Our mission is to provide hope one shower at a time to individuals without access to a clean refreshing shower in the CSRA. Our race will feature soaking stations along the way with water blasters to help beat the summer heat and remind everyone what it means to feel "refreshed". The race will begin at the Hammonds Ferry Soccer Complex and proceed down the scenic North Augusta Greeneway. We will end back at the soccer complex where we will host our awards ceremony and have food options available for purchase to celebrate your success!
