1 Miles Run

To celebrate Pi Day on March 14, we will get together and run a mile at Queen Anne's County 4-H Park in Centreville. However, it's not just any mile; you will eat a piece of pie before running a quarter mile, you will repeat this 4 times. That is 4 pie slices and one mile. You must stop and finish each piece before running the next quarter mile. If you vomit, you will be assessed a penalty lap (quarter mile run)

There will be awards for men's and women's first, second, and third overall places.

Our Pi Mile is a gastro-athletic event that combines speed eating with running/walking.

The Rock Hall Triathlons are nestled on the edge of the Eastern Shore of Maryland in picturesque Kent County and only 18 miles from Baltimore “as the fish swims” (put your bike rack on a boat!). Rock Hall is one of the friendliest, most laid back towns anywhere…and is full of history. George Washington took the Annapolis Ferry to Rock Hall nearly ten times before heading to Philly on horseback to work out America’s Independence! The swim takes place in Rock Hall Harbor on the Chesapeake Bay, protecting athletes from any serious wind or chop. The bike course is a triathlete’s dream with beautiful ribbons of pavement and wide shoulders throughout most of the rural course. The run course is pancake flat and takes athletes through the quaint nautically themed neighborhoods and side roads of Rock Hall, MD.

This race is worth the trip to Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Watch last years race video, then register and plan your trip to Rock Hall, MD!

Run into summer ! As we shake off the cold winter and embrace the spring run the 3rd annual 5K race for Tides of Grace

Tides of Grace is a frontline result driven and goal oriented non-profit organization on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that was established with the mission to support the community through kindness and compassion by providing a helping hand to those in need of resources and services. We are committed to accelerating the development of a better and brighter tomorrow by alleviating the negative outcomes that are endured by those in need of assistance through robust partnership and collaboration. Each month we strive to be a helping hand in the community through kindness and compassion by offering monthly services assisting the community's needs. Each month is a different outreach average 300- 500 people in the community we help each month. Another fun and exciting event is the Prom boutique offering dresses and suits to our Seniors in highs School and others with formal events. Soon the yearly annual Christmas magic toy drive will be celebrating its 7th year. Our events are free to the

community and help offer support and help with whatever chapter they are in during this season of life. We exist to provide an inclusive and enabling environment in different communities and pride our services on meeting the needs of individuals and families we serve.

We are having this 5K race to help us fund future events and afford our space in Centerville that has a recent addition that houses our weekly Crisis Center helping an average of 40 community members weekly. Our goal for fundraising this year is to raise money to maintain our space in centerville.

The 5K race last year helped us to continue to expand our space that now houses the Crisis Center.

The Community Resource center located at 207 N Liberty St your help will continue to allow us to meet the ever growing needs of the community.

The race will start around sunset (7:30 pm) to ensure that everyone has the full experience. Your course will be lighted by a full moon and by lights on the course.
