1 Miles Run

To celebrate Pi Day on March 14, we will get together and run a mile at Queen Anne's County 4-H Park in Centreville. However, it's not just any mile; you will eat a piece of pie before running a quarter mile, you will repeat this 4 times. That is 4 pie slices and one mile. You must stop and finish each piece before running the next quarter mile. If you vomit, you will be assessed a penalty lap (quarter mile run)

There will be awards for men's and women's first, second, and third overall places.

Our Pi Mile is a gastro-athletic event that combines speed eating with running/walking.

This race is a 100% charity event! This year, our selected beneficiary is the Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue and Education Center (https://www.facebook.com/esrrec). This event consists of three distances, 5K, 10K, and 15K, all of which have been certified by USA Track & Field. The 15K distance is part of the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix series of races. The three races all start together at the beautiful Terrapin Nature Park in Stevensville, Maryland and proceed out and back along the Cross-Island Trail on Kent Island. What better way to celebrate Earth Day and the pets we love on a Sunday morning.

The 30th Annual Chestertown Tea Party

Distance Classic Race & Run for Radcliffe

    Saturday, May 23, 2026

Radcliffe Creek School is excited to host the 30th Annual Chestertown Tea Party Distance Classic Race and Run for Radcliffe.

As is tradition, the run will help kick off Chestertown's Annual Tea Party Festival on Saturday, May 23, 2026! Hundreds of runners and walkers are slated to take off from Chestertown's Wilmer Park and trek along a 5K or a 10-mile path throughout the beautiful Kent County countryside.

As the only K-8 school on Maryland’s Eastern Shore focused on serving students with learning differences, Radcliffe Creek School (RCS) stands out as a critical resource for families across the State of Maryland and beyond, whose children have not found success in traditional learning environments.

When you participate in the Run for Radcliffe, you help fund scholarships for children with learning differences—such as dyslexia and ADHD—who rely on the research-backed methodologies and customized instruction that RCS provides to thrive in the classroom.

Registration will remain OPEN until right before the event on May 23rd. You will also be able to register in person on the day of the race (but don't wait until then - secure your spot for less AND a race shirt!)
