Ride a 15, 30, or 50-mile route through the beautiful area of Kent Island, Maryland followed by a post-ride Beer Festival! Bikes & Beers KENT ISLAND is the area's premier cycling event departing from CULT CLASSIC BREWING and traveling the beautiful area of Eastern Shore, MD. All rides feature morning fuel stations, marked routes, GPS turn-by-turn instruction, rest stops, refreshments, ride marshals, and SAG support. Finish back at CULT CLASSIC BREWING for a beer festival atmosphere of rewarding craft beers, live music, a charity raffle & much more!

    This is a ride for everyone - All riding levels are welcome!

    The 9th Annual Bay Bridge Paddle is a paddlesports showcase on the Chesapeake Bay. There are divisions for kayaks, SUPs, surfskis, prone, outrigger canoe and three courses for all skill levels: The Span (9M), The Steamer (3M), and The Soft Shell (1M). If you don't see your craft type, reach out to us an we can try to include it. After the race, kick back with your paddle people and enjoy the Maryland Seafood Festival with live music, great food, raffles benefitting the Foundation for Community Betterment, and awards ceremony.     On Sunday, September 13, 2026, Stef Ripple will host its 10th Annual Stefanie Ashdown Memorial “Do Your Best” 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk. Our mission is to:

    • Provide hope, encouragement and support for ovarian cancer patients and their families

    • Spread ovarian cancer awareness

    • Share the principles of Stef’s life; be thankful, be helpful, be kind.

    This race is our major fundraiser. Funds raised through this race will be used to continue our mission of supporting ovarian cancer patients and their families.     When: Saturday, October 10, 2026, 9:00 a.m. Rain or Shine. FREE Kiddie K Run (10 & under) starts at 8:45 a.m.

    Our Mission: The Tom McHugh Arts Scholarship has been created to support a student whose character aligns with the spirit of Tom McHugh, a creative artist, an inspirational storyteller, and a community enthusiast. * Proceeds from the 5K will benefit the Tom McHugh Arts Scholarship Award to be presented to a KCHS graduating senior pursuing studies in an Arts curriculum. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Rock Hall Elementary School Arts Program.
