Part of the RevolutionNJ Race Series, the event begins at 9:30 a.m. and offers a unique way to engage with New Jersey’s Revolutionary War history. The race route is in the Fort Lee Historic Park.

The RevolutionNJ Race Series draws inspiration from Jonas Cattell’s legendary run to warn American troops of a British attack at Red Bank Battlefield. This race is one of six in the series, with additional events planned at Cedar Bridge Tavern, Red Bank Battlefield, Monmouth Battlefield, Princeton Battlefield and Batsto Village.

Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, participants will experience a race that blends fitness, history, and community celebration. The event offers an interactive way to honor the region's past.

We are excited to announce the 2026 Steve Olsen Run for Rogosin In Person Event on Sunday, June 7, 2026, 9:00AM at Hudson River Park, Pier 62, NYC.

Proceeds from the 5K run/walk will benefit the Rogosin Institute's kidney treatment and research programs. This will be our 17th year hosting the event, and it has raised over $2M to date, thanks to the generosity of people like you!

The Run for Rogosin was established by Rogosin's longtime, extraordinary volunteer, Steve Olsen. Steve is a kidney transplant recipient who began this event to inform people about kidney disease and organ donation. Steve's personal commitment to this wonderful community effort, along with our incredibly dedicated Run for Rogosin Committee, has made the run an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind event.

We hope you can join us in person on June 7th! Space is limited -- register today!
