22nd Annual Pat's Run, presented by TEKsystems

Join us in Tempe, Arizona or virtually from anywhere on April 11, 2026, as we honor Pat Tillman. Pat’s Run, a 4.2 mile run/walk fuels scholarships and leadership development for nearly 1,000 Tillman Scholars, service members, veterans and military spouses who carry forward his values of scholarship, humble leadership, service, and real-world impact.

About Pat's Run:

Pat’s Run is the signature fundraiser for the Pat Tillman Foundation and directly supports our Tillman Scholars.

Each year, tens of thousands of runners come together to honor Pat Tillman’s legacy. All race proceeds are directly invested in Tillman Scholars.

Please Note - Registration closes at 6:30 am on race day morning and is ONLY available through RunSignUp. There are NO paper registrations on race day.

Pricing: This race is FREE for current Arizona Road Racer members if registered by April 4, 2026 11:59pm then it's $25 (Adults and Young Adults) and $15 for Youth entries (17 and under). For non-member Adults and Young Adults it's $25. Non-member Youth entries are $5 if registered by 4/4/2026 then it's $15. Your ARR member discount will show on your total during checkout.

Course: The 5K course is an out and back course on the Arizona Canal and is an USATF sanctioned event. Note: the course is not USATF Certified.

Race Shirts: In keeping with the Spring Cleaning theme, all registered (Adult, Young Adult and Youth) participants will receive a shirt from a previous ARR Race while supplies last. Extra shirts will be available for purchase for $5 or 3 for $10, Venmo or Cash only.

Packet pickup: Race number and shirt pickup is on race day morning between 6:00 – 6:45 am. The race will begin promptly at 7:00 am.

Awards: Top 3 Overall M and F. Age group awards M and F: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25–29, 30-34, 35–39, 40-44, 45– 49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80+years. Note: the age group awards will be a selection of past race medals.

🌶️🏃‍♂️ Run Against All Odds: Cinco de Mayo Run! 🌟

This Cinco de Mayo, challenge yourself and celebrate resilience, community, and culture with the Cinco de Mayo Run Against All Odds! Whether you’re running for fun or for fitness, this event is all about pushing limits and embracing the spirit of overcoming obstacles—just like the holiday itself!

Overview:

Run will sell-out QUICK! We will close off waves the moment they fill up. If waves are sold out, you can sign-up for the virtual run option or wait list.

This is a smaller, private group run with a cap per wave.

All paces and ages (under 18 with guardian) are welcome - Run or Walk!

There's no equipment or setup, this is a pure run with our coordinators to support you in a warm, stress-free setting!

When you sign-up, we give you the support you need to help you achieve your goals and fitness. We also invite you to be part of our local run clubs that supports your fitness journey.

Timing:

• Timing is Optional: You may track your time on an app (Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, etc) and submit your times with our easy form to be posted online. Or you can ask our coordinators to help keep track of your time.

• No timing chips (This is a stress free run to support you in achieving your goals)!

When will I get my Swag?

You will get your shirt at your mailing address the week of your race.

Race Updates:

We will email you a final update the Wednesday before the race with final details and course maps.

Do you accept last minute registrations? (For those signing up 2 weeks before the race)

Yes, but please note that it takes time for us to ship your shirt. Your shirt will likely arrive after the run. You can wear any shirt you find appropriate to run the race!

Virtual Run Option:

• Our Virtual Run uniquely offers a Training Pack with Digital Tools to support your run.

Virtual runs can be done any time and place of your choosing using any tracking device (optional). After you finish, you can submit your results to info@thebestraces.com to receive your medal!
