MTB Championship - Cross Country MTB Racing

The MTB Championship is the final Race of the six MTB Races we have in our Spring MTB Series. Each race will feature a unique course, with safe and well marked trails, held at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA.

MTB Championship - Cross Country Mountain Bike Racing

The MTB Championship is the final Race of our six-race Spring MTB Series and will feature a 7-mile lap course. Included for each athlete in the MTB Championship is a custom TBF/MTB Hat, a chance at Division Awards, and a hot post-race meal.

Packet Pick Up Information

Race packets will be available race morning from 7 am at the race site. Registration prices increase on Race Day.

DISTANCES:

Junior (14-under): 1 lap 7 miles | Novice/Clydesdale (over 225 lbs)/Novice HS (High School Riders): 1 laps 7 miles | Junior Elite (14-under)/E-Bike, Sport/Sport HS/Sport Single-Speed: 2 laps 14 miles| Expert/SS Expert/Pro: 3 laps 21 miles.

DIVISIONS same for Men and Women

  • Pro: one division

  • Novice, Sport and Expert Divisions: 29 & under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

  • Single Speed Divisions: Open (39-under) and Masters (40+over)

  • Clydesdale (Men only): one division (220lb+)

  • E-Bike: one divison (male, female)

  • Beginner: one division

  • Junior Divisions: 13-14, 11-12, 10 & under

High School

  • Novice, Sport and Expert Divisions: (Boys, Girls)

TBF MTB Race Series Placement and Awards

Points will be awarded to each rider placing in their division in one of the six MTB Races that are part of our 2026 MTB Series. The rider with the most points that finishes in five of the six events; including the Championship Race on March 22nd, in each division will be the Series Champion. In the case of ties, the rider that finished with the most first, second, or third place finishes will receive the Championship award. If points are still tied, the final race finish will determine Championship.

Novice, HS Novice, Clydesdale - 9 a.m.

E-Bike, Junior Elite, Sport, HS Sport, Single Speed - 10 a.m.

Juniors - 11 a.m.

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing [email protected] as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Refund and Transfer Information

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.

    TRI for Real Triathlon

    Rancho Seco Park, Herald

    The TRI for REAL Olympic-distance Triathlon & Aquabike are sanctioned by USA Triathlon. The Super Sprint Triathlon is NOT sanctioned.

    Back this year: Tri for Real Finisher Gear.

    These races are held at Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California. The course has a 1.5 k swim - 40 k bike - 10 k run. Included for each athlete is a swim cap, post race refreshments, plus a commemorative Finisher piece.

    Entry into Rancho Seco Park is closed from 7:30 am to 8 am due to Super Sprint Triathlon bike course closure. Vehicles can park and walk in approximately one mile or wait until the road opens at 8 am.

    TRI for Real Series Champions

    Race in all three TRI for Real Triathlons - June 6th, July 11th, and August 8th to be eligible for Age Group Series Champion Awards.
