    The Queen City 5K helps provide support for kids here in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Last year marked our 10th 5K fundraiser race, which is the beginning of another financial stream to better our kids for the future and to be the educational bridge for their futures. We are excited to bring this race to our weekend!

    Our sponsors, partners, walkers and runners will continue to help provide programs, resources and scholarships for our grade school kids up to our seniors on their way to college.

    Course:

    The course starts near Paul Brown Stadium, continues down the river, continues along Smale Park, passes Great American Ball Park and Heritage Bank Arena.

    Benefit:

    Raising money for the foundation in order to give assistance, aide, scholarships and programming for our Queen City Foundation kids.

    Run Divisions:

    Men & Women: 18 and under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

    Walk Divisions:

    Men & Women 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

    If you intend to run any part of the course, sign up as a runner.

    Awards:

    Top Male and Female Runners. Top Male and Female Walkers. Age Group awards to first place in each division.

    Awards Ceremony:

    Awards presented immediately following the race/walk.

    Partnership with Vibe Cincinnati:

    This year the 5k will be a part of Vibe Cincinnati's Music Fest Weekend. And for this reason we wanted to have a race downtown so that all of our new out of town runners can walk to the race. There will be entertainment during and after the race to fit the mold of a Vibe Cincinnati weekend. Our goal is to make this a great mixer of full of fun, entertainment and fitness.

    Chip Timing:

    This year's race will be accurately "chip timed" using MyLaps Bib Tag technology. No need to return chips after the race.

    5K Early registration - April 1 - May 3 - $25

    5K Registration - May 4 until race day - $35

    a. Registration is Open May 15th – June 30th, 2026. This is a Ride. Not a Race.

    b. The maximum number of participants is 120 registered riders (Bruhz Only). No onsite registration.

    c. All riders will be issued rider bibs to designate registered riders. Bibs are your ticket for Post-Ride Fellowship.

    d. All riders are required to sign an online rider and covid waiver to participate in the event.

    e. Safety Tips and Group Ride Protocol videos are being shared in FB, WhatsApp and STRAVA groups. Please review.

    g. Riders are “highly” recommended to be familiar with GPS navigation on the bike devices (Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton, etc.) There are numerous turns on the 20 and 40-mile routes.

    h. The post-Ride fellowship will be catered by local black owned caters. BBQ, pull pork, chicken, soft drinks, some vegan options, etc. Be aware that there is limited shade in the park. Also, it is recommended you bring lawn chairs for extra comfort.

    i. This is not an official Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. or Grand Conclave event; however, we will be representing the Best of Omega on the streets of Tampa. Ride with Pride and Uplift the Shield at all times!

    Location:

    Moundview Park, 3130 Newtown Road, Newtown, OH.

    Course:

    3.1 miles over residential streets. Relatively flat. Splits at every mile. First aid and water on the course. Begins and ends at Moundview Park. Scroll down for course map.

    Divisions:

    Male and female runners divisions for the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

    Male and female walkers divisions for the following age groups: 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.

    Walkers will have a separate start. Note: If you sign up as a walker, you must start with the walkers and you must walk the entire distance (No running allowed).

    Corporate Team Competition:

    A separate award will be given for corporate team competition. Top 3 finishers will score. Based on Total Team time A corporate team sponsorship of $200 will cover a maximum of seven runners including T-Shirts.     Returning for 2025 - School Team Competition:

    Represent your school. Top 5 finishers will score. Based on Total Team time. If you plan on entering the School Team Competition please contact Marshall Remmele at [email protected] in advance for additional instructions.

    Awards:

    Special awards to overall male and female runner and walker, and first Newtown male and female runner and walker. Age group awards to the top male and female finishers in all run and walk divisions.

    Awards will also be given for the Corporate team competition and the School Team Competition and top Newtown Residents.

    Free Kids Fun Run:

    Fun Run - Update to the following: Free kids fun runs after the 5k. No advanced signup necessary. Kids 5 and under will race across the field, elementary kids will race approximately 1000m around the park. Volunteers will be lining the course to direct runners.

    Race Results: Results will be posted online at www.Runningtime.net (here) following the race.

    Chip Timing:

    This year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags (chips). All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must attach shoe tag to your shoe. Click here to see photo of properly attached shoe tag. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-useable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you must agree to return it for re-use.

    Pre-Registration Cost:

    Online Pre-registration is $25 for individuals through Sunday, August 2, 2026. A corporate team sponsorship of $200 will cover a maximum of 7 runners including t-shirts.

    Late/Race Day Registration Cost:

    Online Late online registration will be available from Monday, August 3th through race day on Saturday, August 8th for $30.

    The Major Taylor Cincinnati Cycling Club is proud to host the 2nd Annual Cincinnati Queen City Ride, a three-day cycling experience designed to bring riders together from across the country for an unforgettable weekend in the Queen City.

    Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just getting comfortable on the bike, this ride is for you.

    Here’s what to expect:

    Friday – Welcome Ride + Kickoff Dinner: Kick things off with a relaxed, beginner-friendly welcome ride through the city, followed by a kickoff dinner where you can meet fellow riders, connect, and set the tone for the weekend.

    Saturday – Main Ride Event: This is the heart of the weekend. Choose from three ride levels designed to meet you where you are: from fun and light to more challenging routes that will push your endurance. No matter your pace, you’ll be riding alongside a supportive and encouraging community.

    Sunday – Recovery Ride: Wind things down with a smooth, easy recovery ride. It’s the perfect way to reflect, reconnect, and close out the weekend on a high note.

    But this weekend isn’t just about cycling—it’s about experiencing Cincinnati.
