A challenging yet fair course, the 10-Miler takes participants through parts of Baltimore that are often not appreciated when driving through them. The premiums for this race never disappoint and the post-race party is a great reward for completing the race– complete with cold towels, fresh watermelon and icy craft beer to enjoy while listening to live music on the spacious lawn of the zoo.

    The 5th Annual Run-Up-To Juneteenth 5K Run/1 Mile Walk!

Get ready to celebrate AFRAM and run for a great cause!

Get ready, Baltimore! The Run Up to Juneteenth (RUTJ) 5K/1-Mile is proud to serve as the official kick-off to AFRAM’s 50th Anniversary—a celebration of culture, history, unity, and joy in our city. This year, we’re moving the race to Druid Hill Park, returning to AFRAM’s original routes and honoring the legacy of the community runs that were part of the festival years ago. And because AFRAM began in 1976, we’re inviting you to throw it back—tube socks, headbands, short shorts, retro vibes and all! Want to go full disco-meets-track-star? We’re here for it. Prefer your usual race-day gear? Perfect. We’ll be awarding a prize for Best 1976 Throwback Outfit, so have fun with it! Most importantly, come ready to move and support SEED students on their journey to college. Let’s make this golden
