Welcome to Go4Broke 2026 – Ride to Beat Depression

    Saturday, 19th September 2026

After celebrating a decade of impact, we’re back to kick off our second decade of the event that started it all - Go4Broke.

Join us for the 11th edition of this iconic one-day, 180km ride from Berowra to Broke, a ride that’s as meaningful as it is challenging. What started as a small group of riders has grown into a powerful community united by one purpose: to support those facing mental health challenges and raise vital funds for Lifeline.

From the edge of Sydney to the heart of the Hunter Valley, this is a tough ride, but you won’t do it alone. Riders roll out in one of seven supported pelotons, guided by experienced ride captains, with full on-road support every kilometre of the way. It’s a shared journey built on mateship, resilience and purpose.

But the ride is only half the journey. We ask each rider to raise funds for Lifeline, supporting those in our community, including family and friends who are affected by this debilitating illness. Over the years, our riders have raised an average of more than $750 each, contributing to a total of over $550,000. What can you achieve to help those in need?

Go4Broke is run entirely by volunteers, ensuring every dollar you raise goes directly to Lifeline, helping them continue their life-saving work supporting Australians in crisis.

This year, Lifeline will be managing our donation pages. After you register, you'll receive an email to set up your page and start raising desperately needed funds. And remember, the highest three fund raisers will receive a yellow version of the event jersey on the start line.

Whether you’re riding for someone you love, chasing a personal challenge, or simply want to be part of something bigger, this ride is for you.

At the finish line, celebrate with friends and family in the Hunter Valley, or take advantage of our return coach to Berowra, with bike transport included.

Your registration includes the official Go4Broke 2026 rider jersey, worn with pride as part of a community making a real difference. If you’ve ridden Go4Broke before, you can choose to wear a previous year’s jersey and remove the jersey fee from this year’s registration. Email us at [email protected] to receive the discount code and remove $45 from the registration fee.

Every dollar we raise makes a difference. Every dollar we raise can save a life. Ride with us to beat depression.

2026 SPRING CYCLE VOLUNTEERS 11th October 2026 Spring Cycle brings together thousands of cyclists of all ages and abilities to participate in NSW’s largest family-friendly recreational bike ride. An event like this requires many volunteers to assist in the smooth running of the event. This is your opportunity to be part of something special, whether its in the start/finish village, out on the course or helping set up or pack down. We need you all, your energy and support. Volunteer Roles Venue Bump In There are three venues which need bumping in on Sunday. * St Leonards Park (North Sydney) * Pirrama Park (Pyrmont) * Parramatta Park (Parramatta) We do have logistics teams to perform most of the heavy lifting, so this role includes hanging signage, setting up marquees and water stations, and moving tables and chairs into position. Course Marshals Course marshals guide our riders from the start line through to their designated finish location. This role is a static position that requires each

volunteer to provide directional instruction to riders as they pass by. This is a fulfilling position, that is extremely well received by the riders, police and traffic controllers. Shift times are around four hours, and it is possible to choose a location convenient to you. Start Site Located in St Leonards Park, adjacent to North Sydney Oval, Start Venue Marshals will perform a number of vital roles. The shift is an early one, from about 5.00am, but also finishes quite early, at around 9.30am. Jobs include: * Rider Sign on / Rider Pack Collection * On The Day Registration / Changes * Merchandise Sales * Start Line Marshalling * Bike rack attendant * Baggage Tent * Water Station *
