A challenging 5K course through the rolling hills of Old Route 68, Needlepoint, and Dufford Roads and a picturesque 1 mile that is great for participants of all ages. The post-race celebration includes an award ceremony, raffle baskets, 50/50, lunch, and community celebration. Top male and female finishers will have their name engraved on the Patti J. Nelson Foundation Trophy to be enjoyed for years. There will be prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers and for the top 3 age group finishers. Every participant also has an opportunity to win a door prize.

The Patti J. Nelson Foundation honors the life and legacy of Patti Nelson by supporting the Evans City Public Library. The Evans City Public Library acts as a cornerstone in our local community and is a resource for those in Callery, Evans City Borough, Forward Township and more. In addition to typical library activities, the library offers reliable high-speed internet, story hours, community events, workshops, a place to gather and so much more. Governmental agencies provide operating costs for only half the year. The Patti J. Nelson Foundation, in addition to donations and fundraising events, helps allow the library to keep its doors open year-round.

Bring the whole family to #rungladerun with three different races for every member of the family at the Hot-to-Trot 5K / 1-Mile / Tot-Trot, sponsored by the Rose E Schneider Family YMCA. Our 5K course is a hybrid of roads, parking lots, and sidewalks. Enjoy the scenery as you weave through the horse pastures, riding arena, and stables at the beautiful Glade Run and Passavant Senior Community campuses.

Not quite ready for a full 5K? Our 1-Mile Family Fun Run is perfect as participants will experience the same scenery on a smaller scale.

For the little runners in your life, sign the little ones up for the roughly 100 meter Tot-Trot.

All races include a t-shirt and the NOW-FAMOUS signature Horse-Shoe finisher medal with Overall and Age Group awards for the 5K.

A variety of refreshments will be provided including a free beer from local brewery ShuBrew for those old enough to partake.

Packet pick-up is only available on the morning of the race beginning at 7am and is located in the registration tent located directly adjacent to the parking area and just a stones throw from the start and finish line.

Day-of registration will also be available at Glade Run prior to the race but t-shirts and sizes are only guaranteed for those pre-registered prior to July 15th and the entry fee will increase on Race Day.
