The CCAP's Annual Youth CX Camp

Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at YMCA Camp Sloper

Now in its nineth edition, the CCAP's Summer Youth Cyclocross Training Camp is dedicated to preparing junior cyclists for the upcoming cyclocross season by combining a focus on beginner-to-intermediate skills and technique development with a fun, practice, and race environment. Youth riders will hone skills to better handle all of New England’s cyclocross challenges, including run-ups, roots, barriers, off-camber sections... and much more!

The camp is for boys and girls, ages 9–18, of all experience levels. Camp staff will ensure every camper is prepared for their CX-season goals. No rider will be left unchallenged, overwhelmed, or under-encouraged.

    Register before July 26th and receive a free one-of-a-kind limited-edition Camp t-shirt.

The first 10 people who register get 10% off their registration fees.

    CAMP SCHEDULE:

Camp hours will be roughly from 8 AM to 4 PM each day, packed full of skills, drills, and a mock racing experience. Campers will receive the final schedule in their emails the week before camp. Parents, please make sure you put YOUR email into your child's BikeReg account to make sure you receive all updates and important notices. The CTCX camp is a drop-off day camp. After check-in each day, parents will be asked to leave, and are encouraged to explore the downtown Southington area nearby during camp hours.

We will host an Open training race Sunday afternoon for all to attend. Adults, kids, everyone!

Results will be given, but will not be turned in to USAC. This will be similar to our Rocky Hill Training Series, just toned down a bit since it's still early in the season. It's just $10 to come out and get your race on.

    Welcome!

Come join the CT Trailmixers for the annual Fall Fling 400 trail races! This year we’re again offering race entry options. These races are a great opportunity to give trail running a try.

    Entry Options

Fall Fling 400 You can run as many loops as you’d like of a roughly two-mile trail course as long as you're done within 400 minutes (six hours 40 minutes). You’re not required to run an ultra distance — at least 28 miles (or 14 loops) — although many people will. Whether you want to try your first trail race, or go for an ultra distance, this event is for you.

Spring Fling 4 Miler Complete 2 laps of the roughly two-mile course.

Fling Fanatic Series Do the double - Spring Fling 600 and Fall Fling 400!

We aim to make trail running fun, with a well-marked course that offers a great variety of terrain and scenery. And you’ll get plenty of cheers and high-fives throughout the day — along with what some past participants have said is the best aid station spread they’ve ever seen.
