Fall Fling 400

Miles for Migraine will host its 7th annual 2-mile Walk, 5K Run and Relax Connecticut event on Sunday April 12th at Hubbard Park in Meriden. This event is a fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research. It's more than a walk/run - come connect with your local migraine & headache community, listen to our speakers & visit sponsors in the festival area.

The 5K run is professionally timed. The Walk and the Relax events are free, but donations are encouraged. All walk and run finishers receive a finisher medal.

Dress up in your best purple flair for a chance at a fun prize!

Funds raised will benefit Miles for Migraine free programs & services as well as the Hartford Healthcare Headache Center and Yale Headache Center to support local migraine research and fellowship training programs.

Proceeds go to all the great community causes the Meriden Parks & Recreation and Meriden Running Club support!

Race Location / Course

• Hubbard Park, 999 West Main St, Meriden, CT

• USATF Certified Course ( Out and Back along the beautiful Merimere Reservoir)

• Parking is located in the park and around Mirror Lake.

Race Day Schedule

• Check-In Opens: 7:45 am (Located in the main parking lot, near the playscape, under the big white festival tent!)

• Kids Fun Run start: 8:45 am

• 5K start: 9:00 am

• Award Ceremony to Conclude

Race Notes:

• 2026 Daffodil Dash Performance T-Shirts will be available for sale for $10 on race day while supplies last!

• Kids Fun Run Course Info:

• Kids Fun Run begins at the 5k starting line, turning left and running along Mirror Lake Drive. The route passes the large parking lot and playscape areas and turns left onto Reservoir Ave, finishing back where the participants started.

• Total distance: 4/10ths of a mile

• Please note, all kids are welcome to join! Parents are allowed to run, jog, walk with their children!

• 5K(March 16th - April 5th): $25

• 5K (April 6th - April 20th): $30

• 5k (April 21- Race Day): $35

• Kids Fun Run: Free

• Registration is open until 8:45am on Race Day!

Come join the CT Trailmixers for the eighth annual Spring Fling 600 trail races on Saturday, May 9 starting at 8:00 am ET at YMCA Camp Sloper in Southington, CT!

This year we’re offering some new race options in addition to the classic 600-minute race. Accompanying the Fling 600 we now offer a 6 Mile distance race, while hardened Fling races can step up to become Fling Fanatics by entering both the Fall Fling and Spring Fling.

Spring Fling 600

Run as many loops as you’d like of a roughly three-mile trail course within 600 minutes (10 hours).

Spring Fling 6 Mile

Complete 2 laps of the roughly three-mile course.

Fling Fanatic Series

Do the double - Spring Fling 600 and Fall Fling 400!

CT Trailmixers take pride in welcoming folks who are new to trail running! This event is a great opportunity to give it a try. We make it fun, with a well-marked course that offers a great variety of terrain and scenery. And you’ll get plenty of cheers and high-fives throughout the day — along with what some past participants have said is the best aid station spread they’ve ever seen.
