    A forest-to-summit trek up Gore Mountain’s wooded slopes and broad ridgelines. The route is almost entirely shaded and weaves creek-side paths, rooty woods, and ridge roads with Adirondack air and valley glimpses to reward every step. Push your pace. Carry your weight. Move with the pack.

    Choose your distance: 7, 14, 21, or 28 miles, and complete in 10 hours to earn the coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf Medal. Toss on a 10, 20, or 35-lb weighted vest or ruck and unlock bonus finisher swag + serious bragging rights. The course will be extremely well marked with a fun post-trek party for everyone to enjoy!

    Trek Day Information

    UltraTrax Gore Mountain kicks off at 7am on July 19, 2026. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am with the post-trek party starting at 11am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. **IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 7/3/26, BIBS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. A friend or relative can pick up a bib if you can't attend. Complimentary parking is available onsite. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt and velcro patch. Level 3 and 4 participants will also qualify to earn our coveted UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. Refreshments and food will be available after the race.

    The PEAK 2 BREW (P2B) ADK Relay is a Long Distance Vehicle Supported Team Running Relay Event in the beautiful ADK Region of NY. P2B ADK takes Teams of 4-8 Runners on an epic journey from the PEAK, through the heart of the ADK into the Mohawk Valley, to the BREW. The course will challenge and strengthen runners of all skill level and provide a runner experience like no other...the ULTIMATE Relay Experience!

    P2B ADK consists of 2 different Relay Events:

    1. BARK EATER Relay:
    • Remix of the original P2B BEAST Course

    • Gore Mountain > Old Forge > Saranac Brewery

    • Team Types: 4-PACK & 6-PACK

    • ~130 mile, 2 Day Overnight Event where teams will camp overnight at the halfway checkpoint (Exchange #12)

    o Teams will start mid-day on Friday at Gore Mt then run Section #1 of the course to Old Forge

    o There will be a mixture of day time and night time runs for Section #1

    o All Teams will break and campout once they reach the Halfway Checkpoint at Exchange #12 in Old Forge

    o Section #2 of the course will start with the Sprint Relay teams first thing Saturday morning

    o All Teams will finish Section #2 of the course at Saranac Brewery on Saturday afternoon

    1. SPRINT Relay:
    • Similar Sprint Event as previous P2B ADK Sprint Relays

    • Old Forge > Saranac Brewery

    • Team Types: 4-PACK & 6-PACK

    • ~60 mile, 1 Day Event

    o All Sprint Teams will start first thing Saturday morning with the Bark Eater Teams and will run Section #2 of the Course

    o All Teams will finish Section #2 of the course at Saranac Brewery on Saturday afternoon

    Experience a beautiful Adirondack lake in a fun and exciting 6 mile race that takes paddlers down the length of Brant’s picturesque shores and into a channel, finishing on the Mill Pond at the Horicon Community Center.

    Registration

    Paddlers are highly encouraged to preregister online.

    There will be a packet pick up Friday 8/7 at Food Truck Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Paddlers can also pick up materials the morning of from 7:15 to 8:00 AM at the Horicon Community Center.

    Parking

    Due to limited parking at the start, paddlers are encouraged to park at the finish and find a shuttle to the start. Please park in designated areas.There will be some parking at the start of the race.

    If parking a car at the start of the race. Please park on the side of Rt. 8 across the road from the Hilton Family Farmstand. This allows for more room and turnaround space at the start/drop off area. Please be considerate of other vehicles and paddlers.

    Boats can be dropped off at the starting line before parking.

    The race will start rain or shine. Be prepared for Adirondack weather!

    Paddlers are responsible for their own transportation before and after race. Camp Read will be running a shuttle to the start until 9:00 am.

    Pre-Race paddlers meeting will be held at 9:00 am at the start. Coast Guard approved flotation devices are required for all participants. Drugs and alcohol prohibited.

    Proceeds benefit the Bob and Gert Newton Campership Fund, The Northern Forest Canoe Trail.
