Red Coyote’s Starter Pack 5K Program will begin on April 27th and is designed to help you train for the Love Run 5K on June 27th but can be used to train for any summer 5K. All abilities 18 and older are welcome! Whether you're a runner/walker attempting your first 5K or you're shooting for a new PR, there's a place for you. In our Red Coyote program, we think sharing the training journey with friends working to achieve a common goal is the best part and makes every run more fun. This program is designed for people who have never run before or who have not run recently. We'll help you achieve your goal safely by a gradual and strategic increase in your training mileage. We start with very gentle workouts combining walking and running and give your body plenty of time to adapt to running over the 9 weeks of the program as we build to the goal of running a 5K/3.1 mile distance. We give instruction on proper hydration, nutrition, injury prevention, running form, training principles, as well as

other areas to help you have a successful race! Always wanted to be a runner, but not sure how or where to start? Red Coyote has trained over 3,500 participants to run their first 5K! We have the experience and the knowledge to help you reach your goals! All participants will receive schedules through email but most communication will go through Red Coyote's private Facebook group that is exclusive to this program. To help stay accountable, virtual participants or those who miss a run/walk can post their workouts to the Facebook group page.

    WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

A 9 week program building toward that 5K/3.1 mile goal!

Complimentary entry into the Love Run 5K on June 27th!

A technical Red Coyote Starter Pack training program shirt!

A Checklist Card to unlock some special savings!

Positive support, coaching and a fun group to keep you motivated!

    Weekly training schedules!

    Registration and Cost

Our 9 week program is $65 this season! This includes a technical training shirt ($30 value) and entry into the Love Run 5K ($35 value) on June 27th. Shirts will be ordered and printed once registration closes May 11th and will be distributed about midway through the training cycle. The welcome email, training handbook and link to the Facebook page will be sent out in mid April a couple weeks prior to the start of training.
