This program is designed for people who have never run before or who have not run recently. We'll help you achieve your goal safely by a gradual and strategic increase in your training mileage. We start with very gentle workouts combining walking and running and give your body plenty of time to adapt to running over the 9 weeks of the program as we build to the goal of running a 5K/3.1 mile distance. We give instruction on proper hydration, nutrition, injury prevention, running form, training principles, as well as

other areas to help you have a successful race! Always wanted to be a runner, but not sure how or where to start? Red Coyote has trained over 3,500 participants to run their first 5K! We have the experience and the knowledge to help you reach your goals! All participants will receive schedules through email but most communication will go through Red Coyote's private Facebook group that is exclusive to this program. To help stay accountable, virtual participants or those who miss a run/walk can post their workouts to the Facebook group page.
