Join us Saturday, June 13th 2026 for the Big Rivers Splash & Dash, where every step you take supports critical research and awareness for TANGO2 — a rare genetic disorder that’s personally impacted the Galland family, owners of Big Rivers.

The scenic course winds through Big Rivers Waterpark and around our picturesque lake, giving you a unique view of the park. Expect fun, energy, and excitement at every turn — with the added reward of supporting a truly meaningful cause.

Why We Run:

The TANGO2 Research Foundation was a lifeline for Megan Galland, who faced her first health crisis at just six months old during a family trip. Initially misdiagnosed, Megan eventually received answers thanks to the tireless work of the TANGO2 Foundation. Now, we're running to give that same hope to other families.

Join the fight against hunger by participating in Montgomery County Food Bank's annual Outrun Hunger event, featuring a 8K & 5K Trail Run | 1K Color Dash. The event's proceeds benefit Montgomery County Food Bank's programs for children, seniors, and families facing hunger in Montgomery County. This community-wide event offers summer fun for all ages. All event long at the Party Pavilion, you'll enjoy music, food trucks, photo ops, a kids zone, and more. We encourage all participants to set up a fundraiser to make your impact go even further. Every $1 raised provides up to 4 meals. Let's make a colorful dash into summer!

We are excited to announce the 16th Annual Woodforest Charity Run!

This year’s race will be in-person or virtual run/walk consisting of a 5K / 10K on Saturday, September 19th in scenic downtown Conroe, TX. The registration fee will include a custom t-shirt commemorating the event, which will be available during packet pickup at Fleet Feet located at 1925 Hughes Landing Blvd Ste 900 in The Woodlands, TX 77380 on September 17th from 10 am to 5 pm; at the Woodforest National Bank located at 400 West Davis on Friday September 18th from 9 am to 5:00 pm; and race day morning from 6 am to 7:45 am. As always, net proceeds will benefit the Woodforest Charitable Foundation®. "Volunteer then Run" is our highly discounted registration to help with Race Day and Pre-Race Day Packet-Pick-Up. After Packet Pick-Up is over, you can run and then after help with Award Distribution, Finishline photos and Finisher Tent needs. This option is only available to 5k participants. Simply show up an hour and a half before race start to help and before race starts, you can join everyone at the starting line for pre-race warmup. Then after you run the race and recover you help us hand out awards, refreshments and any post-race needs!!

Supporting/not running, but want to serve your running community and still get the swag? No problem, just click on volunteer on the above menu and choose from the available positions still available. These positions are filled on a first come first serve basis.
