Aberdeen Proving Ground Survivor Outreach, invites you to join us as we Honor the Surviving Family Members of our Fallen Service Members with our 7th annual Run to Honor 5K Run/Walk

In 2026, we are offering both Live and Virtual opportunities for participation. We hope you can join us on post or wherever you may be! The LIVE 5K event will begin at 9:00 am.

This race is being professionally timed and managed by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC

You can participate virtually by walking on your own anywhere you choose or by joining us at the Pajama Party at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, MD.

Every dollar you raise stays in Maryland to save the life of a family's loved one.

When you raise $20, you're helping pay for a ride to treatment.

$50 goes to cover groceries.

$75 keeps their lights on.

$100 will pay some of their medical costs.

The Ellicott City 5K & 10K is a scenic and community-focused road race held each spring near historic Ellicott City, offering runners the choice of a fast, well-organized 5K or a more challenging 10K. The paved course typically starts and finishes near the Oella area, winding through quiet roads with rolling terrain that rewards steady pacing and strong finishes. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, quality race production, and local support, the event attracts everyone from first-time runners to competitive athletes, making it a staple on the regional racing calendar and a great way to experience the charm and energy of the Ellicott City community.

RSPS is excited to present our 11th Annual Family 5K & Fun Run on Friday, May 8, 2026!

The evening kicks off with the 5K Race at 6:00 PM, followed by the Fun Run at 6:05 PM. This fun, family-friendly event invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to enjoy a scenic route through the beautiful Valley Mede neighborhood. After the race, stick around for activities and entertainment for the whole family.

Race for the Future is Mercy Health Services’ inaugural 5K and 1-mile walk, created to help fuel the Mercy Forever 150th Anniversary Campaign and the We Are 150 employee engagement initiative. The Mercy Forever campaign celebrates 150 years of compassionate care while investing in the next generation of healing services for our community.

Taking place at the Maryland Zoo, this community-wide event brings together patients, caregivers, employees, corporate partners, families, and friends to move with purpose, honoring Mercy’s legacy and ensuring that the mission of Mercy lives on forever.

Proceeds from the Race for the Future will support critical programs and initiatives that expand access to care, advance medical innovation, and strengthen the communities we serve. Every step taken represents a commitment to Mercy’s mission: to heal, to comfort, and to serve those who need us most.
