Whether you’re chasing a Personal Best on our lightning-fast flat route or just here for the vibes at the start/finish line, this is the place to be. Run, Walk or stroll!

The best part? Every step you take helps fund the Fayetteville Alumni Chapter Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. scholarship fund. Run for the culture, stay for the cause!

    Last-minute bib pick-up on race day starts at 6pm.

    Please feel free to show up starting at 6:00pm to visit our vendors and to warm up.

    In-store: Sunday, May 31st, 12pm-5pm

    5K Location: A New Leaf Therapeutic Services Parking lot (back lot)

    • This will not be a timed event.

    • The route is not on a closed course; please use caution.

    • Parking is available in the New Leaf Therapeutic parking lot.

    This year's 5K will be held on the beautiful campus of Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC.

    in the All American City!

    The course is designed as a historic tour of Downtown Fayetteville. Competitive runners, recreational runners, walkers, kids, strollers and dogs are all invited! Be sure to dress up in your favorite Red, White, and Blue running attire.

    The 1 Mile Fun Run is limited to 40 entrants. An adult must go with their child that is 8 and under.

    DISTANCES OFFERED

    4 Mile Run/Walk town Fayetteville.

    1 Mile Kids Walk/Run - This event is NOT timed

    There is NO Race Day registration.

    HOW YOUR REGISTRATION HELPS

    Proceeds from the Firecracker 4 Miler go to scholarships for local high school youth that remarkable in class, athletics, community, and home. Other portions got to local non-profits for community outreach, women's support, homeless support, animal shelters, and similar organizations.

    All races will feature different routes and use the Cape Fear River Trail. This trail is a beautiful, paved greenway trail along the Cape Fear River. The start and finish line will be at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. There will be on course support. There will be no pets allowed at this event.

    This race will have an option to add on a VIP experience. This includes a private heated tent for VIPs only, VIP only refreshments, Bag storage, and VIP line for early packet pick up. Limited to 35 entrants.
