Welcome to Pacers Kids Club 7 Week After School Running Program!

Pacers Kids Club is an after-school running program for 3rd through 5th grade boys and girls designed to introduce kids to the joy of running, movement, and teamwork. Led by Pacers Running and coached by local parents and running leaders Julie Culley and Chris Farley, the club focuses on building confidence, staying active, and having fun through running games, group runs, and simple lessons about perseverance and healthy habits.

*Please note: Open to Long Branch Elementary students in grades 3, 4, and 5 only.

The club will meet every Friday from 2:50 pm to 3:50 pm at Long Branch Elementary School beginning April 10 and continuing through May 22, culminating with students participating in a goal 5K together. The program cost is $150 per participant and includes weekly coaching sessions and a Pacers Kids Club t-shirt. All experience levels are welcome!

Additional Details:

• Participants meet in the school gymnasium, across from the cafeteria, after school at 2:50 PM

• Kids should wear athletic shoes, weather-appropriate comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle.

• Registration is nonrefundable. We are not able to offer pro-rated registrations if your child can only attend some of the events.

Dust off your running shoes and come support the Louise Archer community at the annual Louise Archer 5K and Sun Run on Sunday, April 12, 2026! Making this a great spring event this year!

Schools are at the heart of every community, and the PTA is right there building the connections between teachers, school staff, students, parents, neighbors and the wider community to support their students. Through events, programs, fundraising and community outreach efforts, PTAs across the country are building their communities and creating ties to the school in fun, engaging and innovative ways.

The Louise Archer 5K and Sun Run is an active, exciting, and FUN way to support and celebrate our school, students, teachers, staff, and community. Join us on Sunday, April 12 The Sun Run kid's run will start at 8:00 am followed be the 5K which starts at 8:30 am.

When: Sunday, April 12, 1K "Sun Run" starts at 8:00 am, 5K starting at 8:30 am

Where: Madison High School, 2500 James Madison Dr, Vienna, VA 22181

Registration Fees:

5k Run/Walk Adult (13 & over): $40 through March 13, $45 March 14 through Race Day

5k Run/Walk Kids (12 & under): $35 through March 13, $40 March 14 through Race Day

1K Fun Run (untimed): $20, through March 13, $25 March 14 through Race Day

Online registration will remain open through race day morning. All registrations must be done online.

Commemorative Race Shirts will be available to everyone for pick up before the race when registered by the end of the day, March 27. For registrations completed after March 27 shirts will not be guaranteed. Be sure to register early!

Awards & Prizes: Overall Male and Female 13 & Over Finisher, Top 12 & Under Male and Female finisher.

Packet Pick up and Late Registration:

Saturday, April 11 at the PR Store-Vienna (111 Maple Ave) from 12:00-3:00 pm.

Then on race day at Madison HS starting at 7:15 am.

PLEASE NOTE: All runners MUST have be registered and have a bib in order to participate in the run. If parents feel the need to run with their student, please be sure to register. Parents registered in the 5K are able to participate with their children in the Sun Run at no additional fee.

2026 HOYA Clinic IronMed 5k Campaign - Georgetown University Crowdfunding

Join us for the 21st Annual Jaguar 5K & 1 Mile on Saturday, April 18, at 8:00 am

The Falls Church High School Jaguar 5K Run / Walk and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run were started in 2006 by Jeanne Kelly (FCHS alumni and former Director of Student Activities). Over the years it has grown significantly with the positive involvement of students, community members, and staff of FCHS -with over 800 race participants!

All of the proceeds of the event benefit fitness activities (including sports programs, a school weight room, and physical education equipment) that help promote a healthy lifestyle.

Registration fees:

5K: $30 through March 31

$40 April 1 through April 17

$50 on Race day

1 Mile (8th grade and younger): $20 through April 17

$30 on Race Day

Online registration remains open through race day at 7:30 am. All registrations must be done online.

Packet pick up will be at Falls Church HS in the Main Gym Lobby (Use door #11) on Friday, April 17 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, then again on race morning starting at 6:30 am. Online registrations will remain open through race morning at 7:30am

Awards will be given to Overall top three male and female finishers, and the top 3 male and female in each age group.

Parking will be limited due to on going construction at the school. Please plan to arrive early to get a spot.
