When and where?

• On a spring evening at the Westmount Sports Park and the beautiful Laurel Trail

What?

• A great standalone 5k run

• A great standalone 8k run

• A doubleheader - the 5k is followed by an 8k 90 minutes later, for extra challenge, swag, and bragging rights!

• A fun untimed 400m run

What else

• Between the races / after your race, there is live entertainment, a barbecue, and the running of the untimed 400m!

• Yes! This race started in 2003 and has taken place in various locations in Waterloo, Cambridge, Elmira, and Elora! Explore the history of this 5k + 8k challenge.

Concept:

Crush a mile as fast as you can. Then we take your time and age grade it using THIS calculator.

Both the unaltered times AND age-graded times will appear on HPWR.

Masters athletes- now is your time to show the youngins what would have happened if you raced them "back in your day!"

When:

If you want to be included in the prizing, you must complete the race on April 25th starting at 9:30AM.

The segment can also be completed anytime from April 20th-25th, you just won't be included in our prizing.

Course:

Check out the route HERE.

It's fast, net downhill with only ONE corner to slow you down. This will be a certified course with a start AND finish line!

Timing will still be done using the Strava segment, so make sure to start a little before the marked start line and to run through the finish! Self-timing at the start and finish line will be accepted as well- no cheating!

Prizes:

TOP 5 AGE GRADED times for both men and women will receive prizes from Runner's Choice, My Next KW HOME GROUP and H+P. Stay tuned for what these will be!

Run4Another has become a successful annual fundraising event for One4Another (O4A) and again this year we are asking our amazing community of supporters to help us reach children who are patiently waiting for life-changing treatment.

This is the 12th Annual Run4Another event to raise funds so that we can treat as many kids as we can in 2026. Help us keep the work of One4Another growing by running with us in Bechtel Park! Every dollar raised through this event will go toward helping kids on our waitlists receive essential surgeries in Uganda.
