After a three-year hiatus, we’re bringing back one of our favorite traditions. The CollaBEERation 5K & Brew Fest returns this spring, reuniting running, beer, high-fives, and the community we love.

This event has always been about more than a finish time. It’s about showing up, running together, earning the beer, and celebrating the people who make this place special. Whether you’re chasing a PR or cruising with friends, CollaBEERation is a full-send kind of day.

The 9th Edition of the CollaBEERation 5K Race & Brew Fest

We’ll host you for a scenic 5K run or walk along the St. Vrain Greenway, followed by an unbeatable after-race Brew Fest featuring beer, cider, music, food, giveaways, and good times. Everything is included with your race entry.

Run like there’s beer at the finish line.

Race Waves & Start Times

We’ve got two wave starts this year to keep things fun and fair for everyone!

A Wave — 10:00 AM

This wave is for runners expecting to finish the 5K in 25 minutes or less. Fast feet, focused, ready to race — this is your lane.

B Wave — 10:30 AM

This wave is for everyone else — whether you’re running, walking, stumbling, skipping with a pup, or just here for the vibes. If your expected finish time is over 25 minutes, this fun and friendly heat is for you!

Both waves are chip timed, and all participants are welcome to stick around for the Brew Fest, music, giveaways, and post-race celebration at Shoes & Brews.

Wave Overall Winners - some beer some gear and swag and bragging rights.

Age group awards across multiple categories - over 21, expect to walk away with some bevie party favors!

Not chasing a podium? Stick around anyway.

All participants are entered into our massive raffle giveaway featuring shoes, apparel, beer, gift cards, and more.

A Few Important Notes

Bring a valid ID if you plan to enjoy adult beverages. We ID and wrist band everyone race day morning.

Brew Fest tickets available for non-racers who want to drink outside.

NA beverages always available

Friends and family are welcome at the after-party they do not have to purchase a brew fest ticket to come and enjoy with us. We will also have our full brew side bar open during the event for anyone wanting a drink who is not a participant in the race.
