Join this yearly tradition in Brighton! The Town of Brighton 4th of July Celebration kicks off with the Brighton 5K.

This is a flat and fast 5K! As part of the Town of Brighton July 4th celebration, we will kickoff the day with the Brighton 4th of July 5K!

Be a Part of the 14th Perinton Youth Triathlon!

presented by Towpath Bike & MVPT

A Triathlon for Youth Ages 7-14.

Choose between 2 different distances based on skill and/or comfort level.

The Sprint Triathlon consists of a 50 yard pool swim, followed by a 2 mile bike, and finishing off with a 1/2 mile run.

Need more of a challenge? Try the Double Triathlon! 100 yard pool swim, 4 mile bike, and 1 mile run.

There will be a pre-race walk through for those interested Thursday, July 30 from 6:00pm - 7:00 pm at the Perinton Community Center. Meeting for the race walk-through will be held behind room 204 located in the north wing hallway. Participants will be able to see the racecourse, ask questions, and pick-up packets.

No refunds will be issued come Friday, July 31st for any reason (including cancellation due to inclement weather).

What is ROCtoberfest?

ROCtoberfest is a 5K and fundraising opportunity for local charities in October. It's the chance for participants to run a 5K & donate to local charities! And for charities to raise money for their organizations without the expense of producing an event.

Grab your running shoes and lederhosen to celebrate with our ROCtoberfest 5K! Join us at Genesee Valley Park for a 5K run/walk that also will serve as a fundraising event for local charities. Let's celebrate Rochester and charities in it. Register today to join the ROCtoberfest fun!

This long-standing Halloween tradition has been a festive family friendly event! The 5K offers a view of the stunning cityscape from one of the highest points of Rochester. The Kids 1/2 Mile (for kids ages 4-12) is an absolute blast running around the fields of Cobbs Hill.

Offering In person and virtual option

In-Person Entry Includes:

• Long sleeve cotton t-shirt with 5K entry - Must register by Oct 11th to guarantee a shirt. (Additional fee with Kids 1/2 Mile Race)

• Custom Pumpkins in the Park Bib Number

• RFID timing w/ live online results and text/email notification of your results (must opt in to receive)

• Overall and Age Group Awards

• Post Race Treats

• Fun, scenic USATF Certified 5k course through the Cobbs Hill Neighborhood and the best view of downtown

• Finisher medal to all finishers

• Kids Racers get a Halloween candy bag at the finish line and a pumpkin (if the pumpkin crops come in well)

Offering Hard OR Apple Cider - you choose in registration. Must be 21 or over for Hard Cider.

Come run or walk an off-road mile through scenic Schutt's Apple Mill orchards and enjoy four tasty 4 oz samples of cider along the way. Drink a sample, run a quarter mile, drink a sample, run a quarter mile, then repeat two more times. Both hard cider and regular apple cider will be offered. Under 21 or those without ID will receive apple cider. Hard Cider (for those 21 and over that request it, ID Req'd) or Regular Apple Cider. ID Required for those partaking in the Hard Cider.

Come enjoy this perfect fall event at Schutt's Apple Mill, enjoy homemade Cider from Schutt's, a long-time family-owned entity of Webster, NY. Then enjoy the farm and its offerings post-race.

A relaxed but FAST and DELICIOUS one-mile event

A fun fall day celebration enjoying cider and running/walking at one of the oldest locally owned businesses in western New York. After the race, stay and visit the tasting room for additional tasting options. Check out the country store that has been a Schutt's family tradition since 1918. Shirts will be available for purchase for $14 through October 25th

You will be able to select your wave in 15 minute increments. It is 60 people per wave. We reserve the right to combine waves.
