    Team Relay and Solo Race

    UPDATES FOR 2026

Cash prizes for course records! - $500 to each solo runner or team that beats the current course record for the 50K Solo or Relay!

    Details

Loop The Hooch is a 50k, 25k, and Team Relay running race at Chattahoochee Pointe Park in Suwanee, GA. The trail features a winding 5 kilometer gravel/dirt surface loop along the Chattahoochee River. This is a fast and flat course, making the race great for PR’s and first timers alike.

One of the fastest 50K races in Georgia! Current course record is 3:29:03.

You may join as a solo participant in the 50k or 25K, or grab some friends and run as a team! Teams of up to 5 runners will compete against other relay teams for the fastest 50k finish.

The Solo 50K is the RRCA Georgia State Championship Race for 2026.

    Relay Info

You may choose "Female" for all female teams, or "OPEN" for any other team format that's not all female.

*Open division includes mixed gender and all male teams.

Your team will collectively run 50k (ten loops), however you wish to divide it up. Some teams would have each member run 10k (two loops) before switching off, others would have each member run 5k (one loop) then switch. The latter is typically faster overall. Every team member will have a bib with a timing chip, there is nothing you need to hand off. There will be a relay “transition zone” identified on the course map where the the next runner will meet the previous runner completing their loop, you will both pass the start/finish line together, one runner will continue and the other will stop.

Teams are allowed to setup a crew tent if desired. Please be mindful of your footprint so that there is space for everyone. No personal items or setups should be closer than 10ft from the course.

*For 2026, all teams are allowed 2 vehicles max in order to allow parking space for all participants at the park. This includes crew and spectators. Contact us if you have questions regarding this policy.

    Aid Station

Summit will provide a fully stocked aid-station along with water and electrolyte mix. You will pass the aid station every loop, just before the start/finish line.

*All Summit events are CUP-LESS. Please bring a bottle or re-usable cup for water/hydration.
