The course follows the beautiful Arroyo Simi Greenway, offering a scenic and accessible route that welcomes runners, walkers, families, and friends alike. Along the way you’ll experience the excitement of race day, the encouragement of fellow participants, and the pride of being part of a historic national milestone.

This event is about more than just the finish line. It’s about celebrating community, honoring the spirit of independence, and kicking off a day of festivities across Simi Valley.

Join us to be a part of Santa Clarita's premier night run/walk at the annual Be The Light 5K in Valencia, California. Each year the greater Southern California community of runners and walkers come together to support youths in recovery through the A Light of Hope charity, to show them that we are here for them and together we can make a positive impact on their lives.
