The LIDL Corrida de Santo António challenges athletes to race through the vibrant heart of Lisbon during the Santos Populares festival. Organized by HMS Sports, the event offers both a competitive run and a walk, attracting runners of all skill levels. The course weaves through central neighbourhoods buzzing with energy, music, and local support, combining high-spirited community celebration with opportunities to test endurance and performance against a festive city backdrop.

The Atlantic Ultra Marathon Melides–Troia is an endurance event held on Portugal’s southwest coast, where participants run entirely on sand from Melides to Troia. The route passes through beaches such as Aberta Nova, Gale, Pinheiro da Cruz, Pego, Carvalhal, and Comporta, ending at Beco das Lulas beach in Troia. Spectators often cheer runners along the coastline. A shorter alternative, the “Course of the Atlantic,” starts from Comporta and finishes at the same beach, offering a challenging experience on the scenic Atlantic shoreline.
