Come celebrate Mother's Day with a flat, fast, and scenic 5K run along Crissy Field. A great event for both adults and children. Run with your mom - run with your kids! Start/finish of the race is near Little Marina Green/Yacht Harbor Road. Great views of the GG Bridge, Marin, and the Marina Safeway Locals.

Event details and schedule

Race day check-in begins at 8:30am and the race starts at 9:30am. Free half-mile Kids Race for children ages 12 & under begins at 10:15am, same location. Free parking at Crissy Field and adjacent lots. Finisher ribbons to all participants, place ribbons to Top 5 overall M/F/NB runners. Race is held rain or shine and we regret no refunds.     The East Canyon Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.

    The Full Marathon starts overlooking Salt Lake City at the Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon and heads East. This course follows along pine trees, aspens and follows several miles along the East Canyon Reservoir. The Full joins Half Marathon about 3/4 around East Canyon Reservoir where the Half Marathons starts and then heads down Red Rock Canyon which has great views and landscapes and unique rock formations. Around Mile 20 of the race the course turns into farmland with beautiful fields of grain and cool barns. The 10K and 5K are out and back courses that start where all distances finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.
