The Land We Love Run

This event raises thousands of dollars for local non-profits. Participants are treated to a accurately measured 5k course with an aid station just before and after the turnaround point. Age Group awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each category. Categories are 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

The Alpine Runners of Lake Zurich proudly present the 46th Annual Lake Zurich Alpine Races! The Alpine Races 5k and 10-mile courses are USATF certified. The races run through the streets and along the shores of beautiful Lake Zurich. Gatorade and Water will be available along the course. No dogs, strollers, bikes, or rollerblades are allowed in the races please. Keeping with the Race Industry standard, the Alpine Races will not issue refunds or defer for registration made online, by mail, or on race weekend.

The Alpine Runners 10 Mile Run is a 2026 CARA Racing Circuit Race.

Volunteers are the backbone of every successful race and we are grateful for ours. But we need even more people to help us with packet pickup, the water stops, and the finish line! Please consider volunteering a few hours of your time on race day. You won't regret it.

This year, we're bringing back the timed 5K fun run/walk along the stunning Fox River, as well as a 1-mile walk/run option. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 12, and head to Lions Park for an epic day of racing and community celebration. And don't forget about the post-race party – it's going to be a blast! $40 Early-Bird Registration ~ March 31 - August 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Race packet pick-up will occur during race check-in on September 12th.
