  Nothing wrong with pints and pets so are celebrating National Pet Day! Come sip, sit and stay and with us, after your run/walk of course! And yes, pets are welcome, but if you are planning to bring something other than your dog or cat, please give us a heads up!

  BONUS Alert! Following the social run/walk and until 1:00 PM, you will be able to pick up your race packet for the MIGHTY Velvet Hammer 5K too!

  Go at YOUR pace, run, walk, skip, whatever you like the goal is to show up and have fun. Bring a friend or make new ones at the social run. The three miles is on a trail near the brewery! Check-in is between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. You can start your run/walk whenever you would like or join the 'group' start at 8:30 AM and run with the group! The rolling start allows you a choice, flexibility to go at your pace but please arrive by 9:00 AM (check in ends promptly at 9:00 AM, thank you!).

  Along the trail there will be mile markers out, and bottled water available to take with you (there is no water on the course) or bring your own filled water bottle.

  The social run includes the run/walk, a custom branded pint glass, three brews and tacos from THAT TACO DUDE. The three Peticolas brews can be enjoyed anyway you want, meaning, you can drink all three in the Taproom as drafts or have one draft and then take two cans TO GO or in any combination of three.

  SOCIAL RUN SCHEDULE

  8:00 AM-9:00 AM: Check in and start the social run/walk (rolling start between 8:00 AM-9:00 AM) OR

  8:30 AM: “Group” Start (for those who want to run with a group)

  9:30 AM: That Taco Dude Breakfast

  10:30 AM: Social run raffle

  11:00 AM: Last call

  11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends

  NOTES & TIPS

  -Check in is between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the day of the social run/walk.

  -The group start is at 8:30 AM, if you want to run or walk with the group, check in before that time.

  -Social runs/walks are rain or shine, if weather is bad, we just drink the brews and eat the food indoors and have a great time at the brewery.

  -Like the Velvet Hammer 5K, there are no refunds, once you are registered, you are registered.

  -Bring your ID.

  -Kids in strollers are always welcome and always free.

  -You can purchase additional beer to go or merchandise at the brewery.

  SOCIAL RUN REGISTRATION & TICKET PRICING: Purchase tickets online for $35, all transactions are done online and please consider adding a tip for those amazing BEERTenders at Peticolas!

  Social Run Includes: Tacos from THAT TACO DUDE, three delicious brews from Peticolas and a custom Peticolas social run branded glass.

  The social runs/walks are rain or shine and there are no refunds. Once you register, you are registered. If you don't come pick up your social run goodies between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, you lose it, no exceptions.

Our mentoring program serves families in the southeast Dallas area of Pleasant Grove and we are excited to bring a certified 5K race with official timing to the neighborhood. We will also have a Fun Run course, and family friendly activities, including free food, music, face painting, and games.

  Join us to raise scholarship funds for high school and college students. Since 2018, Primos has awarded $105,000 in scholarships. We aim to alleviate the burden of post high school educational costs for first generation students.

This race honors Tal Morrison, founder of the Dallas Running Club (formerly the Cross Country Club of Dallas) whose passion for running helped build the vibrant running community that continues to thrive in Dallas today. The race also supports the Tal Morrison Scholarship, which provides college assistance to Dallas Independent School District student-athletes who participate in cross country and demonstrate dedication to academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
