The Nikolaus 5K Lauf and Fun Walk is a 5k, running, and walking event held on Saturday, November 22, 2025. It is located at N 2nd St in Chillicothe, Illinois.
The Central Illinois Summer Trail Series is excited to host the second race of the season at Black Partridge Park in Metamora, IL—home of the Metamora Redbirds cross country team and a local favorite for challenging, scenic runs!
This 450+ acre gem delivers over 8 miles of flowing singletrack that winds through deep ravines, crosses creeks on numerous bridges, climbs steep hillsides to wooded plateaus, and rolls through mature forests with rolling terrain and natural obstacles. Expect an exciting mix of technical sections, shaded canopy, and that classic Midwest trail magic—perfect for testing your legs and soaking up summer vibes in the woods.
Michael had a heart for running, so to meet the goals of the foundation, a 5K run was established, the “Michael’s 5K run for life.” A large number of people can solve the most difficult problems in life if they act together.

Over 2300 Runners and 135,000 watts of power make Detweiller at Dark THE most unique XC events in the country! It all goes down at the historic Detweiller Park!
This summertime event includes an Open Race and Jr. High and High School races for both Girls and Boys divisions as well as a kids' race!

The KARES Foundation with the support of our KDM5C community globally hits the pavement September 25 - 27 (or whatever day works for you!) for the 5th annual 5K "For the Long Run"! Run, walk, roll, hop, skip, dance, or bike with us from wherever you are in the world to raise awareness and funds for KDM5C.

Red Sneakers For Food Allergy Awareness Walk/Run allows us to educate, spread awareness, and come together as an allergy community. The event includes Teal Pumpkin activities and education to help create allergy awareness and make the event family-friendly. Red Sneakers Peoria: Recent Impact Highlights * Equipped 100 Peoria police officers with life-saving epinephrine auto-injectors * Partnered with 3 restaurants in Peoria Heights now carrying epinephrine and promoting allergy-safe dining * Trained educators at early learning centers to recognize and respond to allergic reactions and donated epinephrine * Expanded allergy-safe zones at major community events, including the Peoria Civic Center and the Peoria Chiefs.
