San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Stampede 5K Run/Walk: A Scholarship Run

Join us for our 5th Annual Salesian Sisters Fun Nun Run to raise money for our ministry with children, youth, and young adults across the Western U.S.

Our mission is to help youth develop a meaningful relationship with God and their community that can serve as a guiding light for their entire lives. Young people need us now more than ever in order to grow into who God created them to be. Will you join us in making a difference?

Fun Nun Run Details:

Cost: Registration is donation-based

Where: In Person and Virtual

Fun Run Day: April 11th- May 16th

Run Details: Run, walk or roll any distance and time on the days of the Fun Nun Run. Local communities may host events, or you may choose your own location to do your run during the event dates. Gather your family & friends to run, walk, or roll in support of our mission with the youth.

The half marathon is sold out. We will not be opening more spots. Keep checking the race registration site for openings in the event any of the runners drop out of the half marathon.

Join San Antonio RoadRunners for our 52nd running of the SARR Fiesta Mission Half Marathon/5K/10K . The 10K is Texas' oldest 10K race!

The SARR Fiesta Mission Run is an official Fiesta event! Fiesta San Antonio in 2026 will be held from April 16 to April 26.

IN-PERSON RACE DATE: Sunday, April 19th.

Race Start Times:

Kids 1K: 7:00 AM

Half Marathon 7:15 AM

10K 7:30 AM

5K 7:45 AM

All 5K/10K/Half Marathon Participants receive:

• Official entry to the SARR Mission Run

• Timed Run with Overall and Age-group Awards

• Tech Race Tee-in men's, women's and youth sizing

• The Mission Run 2026 Fiesta Medal

• Post Race Party Fun

Mission 1K Kids Run Registrants will receive:

• Official entry to the SARR Mission Run

• Fun 1K Run before all other events start

• Tech Race Tee-in youth sizing (youth sizes are limited)

• Kids Run Finisher Medal

• Post Race Party Fun

HALF MARATHON Finishers Only Receive: Mission Run 13.1 hat.

REGISTRATION CLOSES ON RACE DAY AT 7:45AM OR WHEN WE SELL OUT.

TIME LIMIT FOR ALL EVENTS IS 4 HOURS!

Runners with leashed pets and strollers are allowed, but we will ask that they start at the back of the start line.

Virtual Run Dates 4/19/26-5/15/26

The SARR Virtual Mission Half/5K/10K is a virtual event that you can run or walk from any location and route. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. All you have to do is signup, download and print your race bib, complete the run, and submit your results. When you submit your time, you will also be able to download, print and/or share your Virtual Mission Run Finisher's Certificate.

Please take a picture at the end of your run with your Virtual Mission Run Fiesta Medal. Please upload these to your social media platforms.

Runners age 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on all events except Kids Run with online registration thru 3/22/26 (no other discounts apply).

Race Route: 2026 Fiesta Mission Route

This will be the 14th Annual Run to Remember 5k/10k and by special request we are keeping the .5k Beer run and .5k kids run. We are excited to be doing this again and hope you are too.

By now we would hope everyone knows what Beard vs Beans is, and if not, here's a little bit about us!

Sibling rivalry is something that everyone with a brother or sister is familiar with. My younger brother (Matthew aka Beard) and I (Miguel aka Beans) definitely know a thing or two about it. Together, we decided to put our competitive efforts toward a cause for a disease that has affected our family, Alzheimer’s!! Even in hard times our family has always been light hearted and fun, so with that, we compete to see which brother can raise the most money in donations for the Alzheimer's Association of San Antonio and South Texas. The Loser faces a punishment. We currently sit at a 4 to 2 lead by Team Beans (Miguel). In our continued efforts to help ENDALZ we bring you Run to Remember 5k/10k with Beard vs Beans.

All 5k/10k finishers will receive medals and a pretty amazing shirt. The participants who want to partake in the .5k Beer Run will receive a beer mug and the winner will receive an award. You can chose to do the 0.5k Beer Run post 5k/10k and get all the swag. The Kids .5k will receive a medal and Shirt can be purchased separately. Come join us and have a great time with our family, run family and sponsors. As always. ALL proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer Association of San Antonio and South Texas.

Don't forget to create your team! The team with the most registered participants will earn their team name on the Race Day shirts. Deadline for this to happen will be April 15th 2026!
