Girl on the Run 5K Fair Haven Presented by The Waldele Family Foundation

Please join us on Saturday, April 25 at 10 AM (same-day registration begins at 9 AM) rain or shine at the Student Center Patio at Monmouth University (more details here) for our 5K walk/run to raise money for the promotion of education (map of race is here)!

In addition to registering yourself, you can also be your own fundraiser by asking friends and families to contribute to your cause! Have fun with it by giving your team a name, dressing alike and making your own signs!

Proceeds will benefit . Enjoy refreshments, music and prizes.

Your donation will give girls and boys both locally and globally the opportunity to thrive with an education and be catalysts of change for others. Suggested donations are $5 for students and $20 for all others. With that, you get breakfast, a t-shirt if you register by April 18, and if you place first, second or third you are eligible to receive a gift card! The 11th Annual Run The Hook 5K/10K returns to Sandy Hook National Park, NJ on May 10th, 2026 in support of local non-profit Clean Ocean Action.

All runners receive a commemorative pint glass as they cross the finish line in addition to a t-shirt, closed course on Sandy Hook National Park, and chip timed results.

National Parks Service has imposed a cap on attendance again this year. Registration will be open to 600 runners only. Please register early if you'd like to participate and support Clean Ocean Action.

Priority Registration will open Tuesday, February 17th at 10:00 AM until Thursday, February 19th at 9:59 AM. This is an exclusive registration period for all 2024 and 2025 participants to sign up at a discount for themselves and up to three friends.

Login to Runsignup using the name and email used to register previously to access the tickets. Only the main ticket buyer needs to have registered previously, however the additional friends need to be registered at the same time.

General On Sale for all other participants will open Thursday, February 19th at 10:00 AM.

A portion of proceeds from the race go directly to Clean Ocean Action so they can continue to work to improve the quality of our local bodies of water and protect them from pollution and industrialization. The race is fittingly situated on a less than 1 mile wide peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and Sandy Hook Bay giving runners an opportunity to run in a truly unique and natural setting.

Run The Hook is proud to be a single-use plastic free event as part of our mission to rid the beaches and oceans of plastic litter and pollution.

Advanced bib and shirt pick up will be at Road Runner Sports on Saturday, May 9th from 11 AM - 2 PM. Same day pick up will be available starting at 7:00 AM in the start/finish area. You are able to pick up for multiple runners if you have their bib numbers. Bibs will be assigned at check-in.

Bulldawgs Softball @ Two River Little League Home Run Derby

Bulldawgs Softball has always been a proud supporter of rec sports so when our local little league organized a Home Run Derby we decided to throw our support to them! Bulldawgs players will now be competing in the Two River Little League (TRLL) Home Run Derby on May 16th in Rumson, NJ. Once registration information becomes available we will post it here.

Sponsor your favorite Bulldawgs player or team at the TRLL Home Run Derby! Bulldawgs players will be battling it out to prove we have the best bats in the area!
