    We are excited to have you join us for our 4th Annual Pride of the Patriots 5K! This year the race will be taking place at Bill Fredrick Park at Turkey Lake.

    With over 200 participants, the Pride of the Patriots Marching Band is one of the largest in Central Florida. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Freedom High School Pride of the Patriots Marching Band!

    We will offer a Virtual category! All participants (Virtual included) will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal!

    Virtual Race packet information -- If you want to join us from a far or run at your home, you can register to in our Virtual category. To guarantee you have all your race items in hand prior to the event date of Saturday, April 11th - you must register by Sunday, April 5th. Packets will be mailed out that week. If you register after that date, you will receive your packet after April 11th.

    Race Day timeline:

    Park will open for race - 7:00AM

    Race Day Packet Pickup - Opens at 7:00 AM

    Race Start time - 8:00AM

    Race results - This is a FUN RUN and we will be scoring and recording the top 3 men and women only. There will be a finish line clock so you can see what you time was as you cross this line. Make sure to check out the clock!

    This is a run/walk event in honor of PFC Zachary M. Martin, USMC who took his life due to PTSD. This 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation raises money to help veterans and discharged military, post service, struggling with PTSD to get the help they need.

    There is a $5 registration discount for students, military, and first responders. Racers are chip-timed and photos are available through the Selfie Results TV kiosk as well as a free downloadable photograph as racers cross the finish line.

    Children 12 and under are free. Wheelchairs are welcome.

    All participants will receive memorial military-style dog tags.

    Hebni Nutrition Consultants, in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, presents the Arts and Hearts Health Fair & 5K: A Morning of Wellness in the Community. Hebni Nutrition Consultants, Inc. (Hebni) is a community-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1995 to educate high-risk, culturally diverse populations on nutrition strategies that prevent diet-related diseases. Hebni is known for developing culturally rooted programs such as the Soul Food Pyramid and Sisters: Take Charge of Your Health, which address populations disproportionately impacted by cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, and obesity.

    Join us at Lake Lorna Doon Park for a vibrant morning focused on health, movement, and community connection. Hosted in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, the Arts and Hearts Health Fair brings neighbors together for an engaging wellness experience that goes beyond a traditional race.

    Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

    Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

    Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

    Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

    Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):
