Date & Time: Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 9:00 am

Entry Fee: $30 (Early Registration) | $40 (After May 18, 2025)

Awards: Top 1-3 Overall | Top 1-3 in Age Groups

Course:

The race begins and ends at Bala Cynwyd Park. It follows a scenic out-and-back route down the Cynwyd Heritage Trail, with a turnaround point just past the park for an exciting finish. See course map here.

Race Timing and Results:

Professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Results will be posted at brynmawrracing.com.

Why We Run:

Summer camp is life-changing. It shaped who we are and gave us lifelong memories. By raising funds for SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education), our goal is to provide underprivileged children with the opportunity to experience the magic of camp. Camp fosters personal growth, social interaction, and unforgettable fun. Every step you take helps give these kids a brighter future!

    The 5K Course begins on Locust Street near the PAS front entrance. Our amazing course will take you through the beautiful Penn campus on Locust Walk to Penn Park, returning to Penn Alexander School's Locust Street finish line. For the 5K, we are asking that runners do not bring pets or strollers on the 5K course. Please plan to be off the course by 9:20 AM to ensure a safe start to the 1-Mile Fun Run.

    The 1-Mile Fun Run will go to the compass at 37th and Locust and back. The start and finish line will be on Locust Street, by the PAS playground.

    Strollers for the 1-Mile Fun Run are welcome. Pets are not permitted on the 1-mile Fun Run course.

    The Wissahickon Trail Classic was established in 2006 to highlight Wissahickon Valley Park as one of the best trail running destinations on the East Coast. Back for its 17th year, the Wissahickon Trail Classic will engage hundreds of trail runners from the region, providing a unique race experience in Philadelphia’s premier park. Benefiting Friends of the Wissahickon, funds raised through the Trail Classic will go directly back into the stewardship of the Wissahickon trail system and watershed.
