5K!

Since 2016, this inspiring event has brought the community together to raise awareness for organ, tissue, and eye

donation throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

Held during Donate Life Month, the Cream City 5K features something for everyone - whether you're running, walking, or

cheering from the sidelines. Enjoy a 5K Run/Walk, a relaxed 3K Walk, or bring the little ones for Kellan’s Kids Fun Run.

Our family-friendly event features a fast, scenic loop course, gender-specific long sleeve tech shirts for all participants, and

delicious post-race food. Let’s run with purpose and celebrate the gift of life!

Kellan's Fun Run for Kids

A special 0.4K race for kids 10 & under held in-person and virtually.

Entry Fee: $15 (August 1, 2025 – April 25, 2026)

All participants receive:

• An awesome race shirt

• A finisher medal

• Race bag

• Post-race food & drink

This event is held in loving memory of Kellan Sorenson, who passed away in December 2015. In a profound act of

generosity, Kellan’s parents chose to donate his organs to help save other children in need of life-saving transplants.

Ray of Hope for Ovarian Cancer Cure Inc is entirely volunteer-run. Our operating expenses for the Ray of Hope Run are covered by generous sponsors, ensuring participant fees and donations go straight to research. We are also incredibly grateful for our many in-kind sponsors who donate signage, food, race equipment, and other essentials that help make the event possible.

The Horning Hawks Run is a fun, feel-good community event honoring the history and legacy of Horning Middle School—and it’s open to current and former students, staff, families, and community members.

Held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Horning Middle School / Banting Park in Waukesha, the event features age-based options so everyone can join in:

• Half Mile for grades 1–5 (9:00 AM)

• Middle/High School 3K for grades 6–12 (9:15 AM)

• Open 3K Hawk Walk/Run for college-aged participants and adults (9:45 AM).

Proceeds support Horning Track & Field and PBIS
