The Course COURSE STATISTICS: The Wicked Windstone Loop* Distance: 5 Kilometers (3.1 Miles)* Elevation Gain: Approximately 300 Feet Per Loop* Surface: Mixed farm roads, mowed fields, wooded trails, pine forest, and natural terrain* Terrain Classification: Rolling Trail Course* Crew/ Spectator Access: Start/Finish Area, Aid Station Area, some unwooded areas (large field and other open areas that do not impede runners)* A single lap provides runners with a complete experience of the Windstone Landing Farms property, including open and active farmland, pond views, rolling hills, and wooded trail sections. The Route Each lap begins at the Start/Finish and Aid Station area before immediately carrying runners beneath the property’s iconic willow tree and across the pond land bridge. From there, the course opens into rolling farmland where participants complete a perimeter circuit of the eastern field before entering the property’s northern woodlands.The trail transitions through a variety of

terrain including flowing singletrack, dense forest, towering pines, creek-side trails, and a hand-built log bridge. Along the way, runners will encounter some of Windstone’s most recognizable landmarks, including the old hunting blind, secluded forest clearings, and the property’s scenic creek corridor.Late in each lap, runners arrive at the course’s signature challenge: The Wall. This steep wooded climb rises from the swamp edge and serves as a reminder that while the course is highly runnable, it is never entirely forgiving.After cresting The Wall, the route continues through rolling pine and fern-lined trails before emerging near the pond and western pasture boundary. Expansive views of the surrounding countryside provide a welcome contrast to the enclosed forest sections encountered earlier in the loop.The course then returns runners toward the heart of Windstone Landing Farms. Participants pass alongside the camping area and through the farmstead corridor, where crews, spectators,

volunteers, the homestead, and the Delivered Fresh packaging facility all become part of the race experience.Leaving the farmstead behind, runners turn onto Windstone Lane and complete a short out-and-back segment toward Hoblet Road before returning toward the Start/Finish area.Upon returning from the out-and-back, runners arrive quickly back at the Start/Finish and Aid Station where they will either begin another loop or celebrate the completion of their race.** The 100-Mile event will begin at a designated start point approximately 0.934 kilometers prior to the main Start/Finish area. Participants will then complete 32 full loops of the Wicked Windstone Loop course. Elevation & Difficulty COURSE DIFFICULTY: The Wicked Windstone Loop is challenging enough to be respected, yet runnable enough to allow significant mileage. It’s not a true mountainous Ultra but it’s not a flat one either!Elevation Gains: (By distance)5K: ~320ft - 1 Loop50K : 3,000+ft - 10 Loops100k: 6,000+ft - 20 LoopsAt or

near the 100 mile mark (32 Loops + Offset Start - runners will have gained 10,000+ feet of elevation! The Wicked Reversal At least once during the race, air horns and/ or cowbells will be used throughout the course by the event organizers to announce to runners of The Wicked Reversal™. When the signal sounds, runners will complete their current lap (check in at the start/ finish line with the RD and begin the next lap and subsequent laps in the opposite direction. Until which time the event organizers signal an end to the reversal!The timing is unknown. The duration is unknown. Gear/ Pacers Headlamps / Lighting• Headlamps or handheld

lights are REQUIRED for all 100K and 100-Mile participants.• Headlamps are strongly recommended for 50K participants who anticipate being on course after sunset.• Runners are responsible for carrying sufficient lighting and backup batteries for overnight conditions.GPS Devices• GPS watches, trackers, and satellite communication devices are permitted and encouraged.• GPS data may be requested by race officials in the event of timing, loop-count, or course-completion discrepancies.• The Race Director reserves the right to make the final determination regarding all timing, loop-count, and course-completion disputes regardless of GPS data.Trekking Poles• Trekking poles are permitted for 100k and 100 mile distances• Participants using trekking poles must maintain control of their poles at all times and yield appropriately when passing or being passed by other runners, particularly on narrow trail sections.Pacers• Pacers are permitted for the 100K and 100-Mile events only.• 100K participants may

utilize one pacer at a time after completing 16 loops (80 kilometers).• 100-Mile participants may utilize one pacer at a time after completing 18 loops.• Pacers must check in with race officials and sign the event waiver before entering the course.• Only one pacer may accompany a runner at any given time.• Pacers may provide companionship, pacing guidance, motivation, navigation assistance, and safety support.• Pacers may not push, pull, tow, carry, support, or otherwise physically assist a runner’s forward progress.• Pacers may not carry mandatory gear, hydration, nutrition, or equipment on behalf of a runner.• Pacers may not stage supplies or provide support outside designated aid station or crew access areas.• Pacers are considered an extension of the runner. Any rule violation by a pacer may result in disqualification of the runner. will not be guaranteed to receive a tee or limited to sizes left available on race day.• Access to On-Site Camping• Access to the Official Event Aid Station• Wicked Windstone Finisher AwardsFinisher Awards• 5K Finishers will receive an Official Wicked Windstone Loop Finisher Medal.• 50K Finishers will receive an Official Wicked Windstone 50K Finisher Medal.• 100K Finishers will receive an Official Wicked Windstone 100K Finisher Medal.• 100-Mile Finishers will receive an Official Wicked Windstone 100-Mile Finisher Belt Buckle.**There will be a 12 hour cutoff for all runners in the 50k a 30 hour cutoff for all runners in the 100k event and a 36 hour cutoff for all in the 100 miler.Awards• Overall Male and Female Champions will be recognized in each race distance.• Additional awards may be presented at the Race Director’s discretion.SPECTATORS: you will be able to cheer and support your participants throughout the designated camp site areas, take the short walk over to the Start/Finish area

, and at other open-air spaces on site that do not impede the race flow. On site food and beverage will be available for purchase at designated times and subject to volunteer availability. There is a commercial kitchen on site (located between the campsite and Start/Finish + Aid station area on the corner of the homestead) that can and will offer some hot meal options along with various local and farm fresh packaged goods and refreshments. Again, this and times may be subject to volunteer availability so please plan appropriately. On Site Camping/ Aid Stations CAMPING• Primitive on-site camping is permitted and included with registration at no additional cost.• Camping is restricted to the designated Parking & Camping Area located on Windstone Lane.• No RVs or campers as no utility hookups are available.• Participants are welcome to pitch tents, utilize pop-up canopies, set up crew stations, and use their personal vehicles as a recovery and support area throughout the event.• Porta
