Jackson, NJ #LightUpMBC Walk October 17, 2026 Let's shine a light on the importance of funding critical research for Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC), also known as Stage 4, where the cancer has spread beyond the breast to other parts of the body. Currently there is NO CURE for MBC and together we can work towards changing that! When we cure stage 4, we will cure them all! Join us on October 17th, 2026 for an unforgettable event the whole family will enjoy! Festivities will include a glow in the dark walk, light refreshments, a DJ and other fun surprises! Participants are encouraged to wear their brightest pink, teal and green colors and favorite glow accessories along with this year's walk shirt! We hope to see you at this meaningful event to raise money to find a cure for MBC. There are several ways to get involved in the Glow Walk: 1. Register to participate in the walk.     On June 6th, our community comes together not just to run or walk, but to remember. The Westlake Veterans Club invites you to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown on D‑Day by joining us for a military‑themed 5K run and 2K walk. And will have designated sections named after the 5 landing sites- Omaha, Utah, Gold, Juno and Sword. Both the 5K and 2K courses are on the beautiful, flat roadways surrounding the golf course with the start and finish lines at the world class clubhouse! Proceeds will enable the continuing philanthropic donations the Westlake Veterans Club provides to veteran and community causes in the Greater Ocean County area.

    Adding to the fun atmosphere of the day will be a military ceremony with color guard, music, and refreshments.

    The 5K race is sanctioned by the USATF with awards as follows:

    Top 3 Male/Female Overall

    1st Firefighter

    1st Police

    1st Military/ROTC

    1st Doctor

    1st Nurse

    1st Teacher

    1st Westlake Resident

    Age Group Awards:

    Top 3 Male/Female in Age Groups: Under 15, 15-19, 20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70-79, 80-89, 90 and Over.

    Team Awards:

    Presented to the winning teams in the following divisions:

    Note: Teams require a minimum of 3 members competing. The winner is based on the lowest total time for the first 3 runners on a team.

    The Rotary Club of Point Pleasant Boro is hosting its Annual Father's Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Whether you participate as a runner or sponsor, you will play a part in raising funds for various Rotary charities. We support local community-based organizations and veteran projects.

    Awards given to top 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female overall finishers & the top 1st, 2nd 3rd male & female finishers in each age group.

    The course is certified, flat and fast and hasn't changed since our initial run in 2008. Electronic timing will be provided by South Jersey Race Timing, LLC to insure that our participants get expedited results.

    Registration is available online until race morning. ( Race morning is through credit card on Run Sign UP only! NO CASH)

    Beginning at 6:45 am at Vista Park you can check in. It is easiest if you show your RunSignUp registration on your phone.

    1 Mile participants will receive their finish time through Run Sign Up. There are finisher awards and overall male/female, but not for age group.

    There will be a LIMITED TIME DISCOUNT to sign up before Feb 14th!

    If you are paid member of Ocean Running Club prior to registering, you will receive $5.00 off of your selected race. ( You can follow the link to register for ORC and sign up on Run Sign Up too.)

    5k Run/Walk/Ruck includes a t-shirt that will be available to you at packet pickup! If registering after June 11th, race shirts are not guaranteed. A limited quantity of shirts will be available race day. NO SIZE EXCHANGES.

    5k Run - Awards will be given to Top 3 Male/Female overall and top 3 Male/Female in 5 year age groups. Results will be posted as they become available and will send to your email through Run Sign Up. Awards will be available for pick up as results are posted. You do not need to wait until the end of the race ; )

    We will again have a RUCK division. To compete there is a 10lb weight for less than 150lb participant and 20lb weight for above 150lb with awards for the first male and first female finishers and GO RUCK patches for all finishers. If you choose to wear a lesser weight you can still participate, you will not have the option to receive first M/F.

    There will be 2 official water stops and water at the finish line.

    Bathroom facilities (port-o-johns) will be available in the park, but NOT along the course.

    Bibs and shirts can be picked up the morning of the race at the event, beginning at 6:45 am. If there are any changes, registrants will be emailed listing those changes.

    Refer 5 friends and get a $10 refund!! When you register, your confirmation email will have a custom link for you to share with your friends. When 5 friends use your link and sign up for the race you automatically get a $10 refund. Share the fun and save some cash!

    Runners, history buffs, and families will come together on August 9, 2026, for the Monmouth Battlefield 5K. Part of the RevolutionNJ Race Series, the event begins at 9:30 a.m. and offers a unique way to engage with New Jersey’s Revolutionary War history.

    The RevolutionNJ Race Series draws inspiration from Jonas Cattell’s legendary run to warn American troops of a British attack at Red Bank Battlefield. This race is one of six in the series, with additional events planned at Cedar Bridge Tavern, Red Bank Battlefield, Fort Lee Historic Park, Princeton Battlefield, and Batsto Village.

    Whether running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, participants will experience a race that blends fitness, history, and community celebration. The event offers an interactive way to honor the region's past.
