Welcome to the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon Weekend, featuring the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay, with 2 Person and 3-5 Person Relay presented by Darn Tough, Vermont, and the M&T Bank Memorial Day Weekend Youth Events!

The marathon and relay course is a fast course--mostly flat with some rolling hills and one bigger climb at the midway point of each loop--through Burlington and along Lake Champlain. The M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay is a community effort, recognizing all those who have had a hand in making the race a success since 1989. The course runs through the best of Burlington, from the Church Street Marketplace to the Burlington Bike Path and offers exceptional views of the Adirondack Mountains.

All up-to-date race information can be found on the RunVermont website at www.runvermont.org/vermont-city-marathon-relay/ and www.runvermont.org/memorial-day-weekend-youth-events/.

Common Ground Center is thrilled to present our first ever 5k run/walk race!

Sign up to benefit the community and run towards a common goal—proceeds from this event will go towards supporting CGC’s adventure camp program, summer camps, and other initiatives aimed at ensuring that all children and families have the opportunity to learn, play, and thrive.

Our 5k will be held at Common Ground Center in Starksboro, and will weave through the property’s trails, fields, and between camp cabins. While the 5k will be moderately challenging and officially timed, our family-friendly 1k will be fun for all ages and abilities. Regardless of ability, background, or any other factor, we all run on Common Ground.

Come and see what CGC is all about, and take part in this local race that is sure to become a favorite. We look forward to connecting with more of our Vermont community, and to making out-of-state (or even out of country!) connections as well.

More information to come. Get ready to experience a little bit of camp magic!
