PLT is teaming up for the 2nd year with the IBBC for a very special trail 5k and kid's trail run with a portion of the proceeds going to the Irvington Bulldog Booster Club!

This is a rain or shine event!

Come out to the Irvington Woods for a beautiful trail 5k and a .6 mile (1k) kid's trail fun run (10 and under).

Sunday, April 12th at the Irvington High School campus (entrance on Heritage Hill Rd.).

Kid's Fun Run start: 9am

5k start: 9:30am

Wheelchair athletes, runners, walkers and families all compete together at the annual Heels & Wheels 5K Road Race & Walk and Kids Fun Run.

The Heels & Wheels 5K is unique in that it is one of the only events of its kind that allows participants of all ability levels to compete together in a supportive environment. Community members are invited to cheer on the athletes.

• Our Kid's Fun Run is free for kids 9 and under!

There will be two Kid's races:

• Ages 4-6: 100-yard dash

• Ages 7-9: 1/4 mile run

The Pelham Children’s Center Spring 5K is a family-friendly community race benefiting the Pelham Children’s Center and its early childhood education programs. Join runners and walkers of all ages for a fun spring morning in Pelham, starting at the historic Daronco Town House.

This event is open to runners and walkers of all abilities and is a great way to support a local nonprofit while enjoying a scenic Pelham course. All proceeds benefit the Pelham Children’s Center, helping provide high-quality early education for children in our community.

Come join us for a special year at the 11th and final edition of Conquer The Trail Race presented by Conquer The World Endurance and the Mercy University Exercise Science Program. This year's race will take place on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry, NY and coincides with the 75th Anniversary Celebration of Mercy University. To celebrate the school's anniversary this year's race will be a 7.5k Run that will be a flat and fast out and back on the Croton Aqueduct Trail. As part of the celebration the first 75 who register will receive a special commemorative shirt as well as 7.5% off registration using code: ConquerMercy75

Proceeds from the farewell edition of the Conquer the Trail Race will go to support Mercy's Mav Market. The Mav Market is a judgment-free, inclusive, and confidential resource for Mercy University students, staff, and faculty experiencing food insecurity, providing access to nutritious food and personal care items at no cost. Awards will be given to the Top Three Overall Male and Female runners. We will also be having race day raffles with prizes from sponsors! When parking at Mercy please follow signs for the event and directions by our volunteers. Parking is free. Race day Registration and packet pickup will end PROMPTLY at 8:45am so the event can start on time, please plan on arriving early. The race will start at 9:00am.

Please be aware the 7.5k is going to be run mostly on trail, and although it is flat in regards to elevation there are rocks, stumps, and tree roots so please stay aware and pay attention throughout the race. Looking forward to seeing you all on race day!

The 2nd Annual Crusaders Crush Cancer 5K

We are back for the 2nd annual Crusaders Crush Cancer 5k! We are ready to make this year bigger and better than last year! We have signs ready to go for an accurately marked course. Our goal is to make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer. Proceeds from this event will again be split between two organizations that are especially close to our hearts: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Crusader Care Fund.

The Crusader Care Fund provides vital support to Archbishop Stepinac High School families facing serious illness. This fund helps ease the financial burdens these families may encounter during incredibly challenging times, offering relief and solidarity when it is needed most.

By participating in the Crusaders Crush Cancer 5K, you’re not just running—you’re standing with families in our community and contributing to the larger fight to end cancer.

The Details:

The race will be held rain or shine on Sunday, April 19th, at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY. Race start is at 9AM and there will be a one hour time limit. Bib pickup will be held at the school on the day of the event starting at 7:45 AM at the back of the school. It is suggested to arrive early to ensure parking on site and to make for a smoother bib pickup process. There are bathrooms available within the school building. Each runner/walker will be guaranteed a performance/dri-fit race t-shirt if they are registered by April 9th.
