✨Join us for a peaceful and rejuvenating morning at Smoke Crest Farm and Animal Sanctuary while supporting two meaningful causes. This special Fundraiser Retreat offers a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the healing energy of the sanctuary’s beautiful 220-acre farm.

The morning will include a series of restorative wellness experiences:

60-Minute Yoga Session to ground your body and mind

60-Minute Sound Bath for deep relaxation and energetic balance

Energy Cleansing & Clearing Session to release and reset

Prefer a slower pace? You’re welcome to simply wind down and enjoy the peaceful setting. Guests can relax with scenic views, explore and hike the farm’s trails, or spend time connecting with the sanctuary animals.

Guests will enjoy an elegant buffet brunch, featuring:

Fresh fruit

Bagels with smoked salmon

Yogurt & granola

Fresh celery shots

Proceeds from this event will support the ongoing care of the animals at Smoke Crest Farm and help fund Steve Coate's journey to compete in the Deaflympics, helping cover training, travel, and competition expenses.

Muddy Kids is 2 and 3 mile adventure event series for families and kids ages 5–15, with fun and challenging obstacles, mud, and entertainment for the whole family.

Muddy Kids is the perfect event to reconnect, strengthen relationships, have fun, get active, get muddy, and bond as a family!

Muddy Kids is not just about getting dirty, it’s also about challenging yourself, having fun, and working as a team with your family. So gather up your family and friends, put on your mud-friendly clothing and shoes, and get ready to take on the Muddy Kids Family Obstacle Mud Run. We can’t wait to see you there!

Event details and schedule

The venue opens one hour before our first batch. We advise that you arrive 45 minutes before your start time, so you have plenty of time to go through registration before we call you to the start pen for warm up 5 minutes before you start on your selected batch time.

Spectators are welcome for FREE, please note kids must be accompanied by an adult/legal guardian. There will be an event village where they can cheer you and your kids on at the start and finish line.

We have a Bag Drop ($5 on the day) where you can leave your stuff until you have completed the course.

A minimum of 1 Adult and 1 Kid need to register. A maximum of 4 Kids can register per 1 Adult. Additional Adult and Kid tickets can be purchased separately.

The minimum age for a Kids entry is 5 years young – but please, parents/legal guardians, kids (up to 13 years old) must be accompanied by a registered, participating adult. Event waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian of all Kids under the age of 18. No waiver, no run, no exceptions.

As part of Moon Hill Brewing's annual Oktoberfest North Medford Club is hosting our Annual Run for a Beer 5k!

Come join for a fun filled day running or walking, then staying for a great day of activities at Oktoberfest. First Beer provided with registration will be ready to serve at the end of the race!

Early registration is $35 (through 8/14), increasing to $40 (8/15-9/20) and $45 (9/21-9/26). Please register by 8/14/2026 to guarantee a shirt!

On a crisp autumn morning, runners and walkers of all ages and abilities will gather at the heart of Shutesbury for an invigorating 5K road race. The course will wind through the picturesque roads, providing a scenic backdrop as participants stride towards the finish line. Whether you're an avid runner seeking a new challenge or a walking enthusiast looking for a fun activity to kickstart your Thanksgiving celebrations, the Turkey Trot promises to be an event for everyone. The Event will:

Feature a kids' run.

Have prizes to fill your Thanksgiving tables.

Showcase local business sponsors.

Raise funds for a new Shutesbury library.

Escape the city and step onto a fourth-generation, raw working dairy farm in Barre, Massachusetts. Located just 1.5 hours outside of Boston, this venue swaps out manicured parks for authentic, agricultural terrain. You will plunge deep into dense, heavily shaded New England woods and charge across sweeping open pastures and active cornfields. The natural layout features single-track forest trails heavily loaded with hidden roots, loose rocks, and sudden, deceptive elevation changes that will test your ankle stability, focus, and grit at every turn.
