Join the Casey Cares Foundation for our 17th Annual 5K Run/1-Mile Walk on August 1st! Proceeds from the race will support programs for families with critically ill children. The chip-timed 3.1 mile run/1-mile walk will be held at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. Participants will receive a tech shirt, race bib and finisher medal. We'll have awards for the largest team, most spirited team and top fundraising team, so share with your family, friends and sign up today!

Tech T-Shirt Deadline - July 17th! (Note - children 8 years and under do not receive a race shirt.) Registration for the race is open through August 1st, and both individuals and teams are encouraged to register.

For guests who would like to stay and enjoy the Zoo exhibits after the race, we are offering add-on Zoo admission tickets for $15 per person.

A Celebration of Baltimore History on Foot

The Altra Charles Street 12 presented by Kelly Benefits starts at the Shops at Kenilworth in Towson, and continues south heading downtown on beautiful Charles Street, a National Scenic Byway. Runners enjoy running through Charm City’s most charming neighborhoods and past some of Maryland’s most esteemed religious, historical and educational institutions. When runners finish, they can celebrate their accomplishment with a one-of-a-kind post-race party between the stadiums at the Camden Yards Sports Complex!

The Altra Charles Street 12 and 2-Person Relay presented by Kelly Benefits is the 3rd Race in the B3 Distance Series.

Welcome to the 19th Annual Jessica Meredith Jacobsen Memorial 5k & Fun Walk! For nearly two decades, our community has gathered every September to turn a tragic loss into a powerful legacy of support. Whether you are chasing a personal best or enjoying a morning stroll with the family, your footsteps directly support the House of Ruth Maryland, ICS Tuition Assistance, and Father O’Neill Charities.

The race and walk will begin at our host school, Immaculate Conception School, in Towson, MD, at 8:00 AM. The race and walk will follow the same course as last year. We will also include a virtual race option for all participants who prefer the flexibility of participating when and where it is convenient for them.

T-shirt and bib pickup will be on September 17th and September 18th at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 616 W. Seminary Ave, Lutherville, MD 21093, between 3:00-7:00 PM.

Free parking for the event will be available in the garage on Ware Ave. on race day.

Online registration for the 5K and Fun Walk will close at 8:00 PM on 9/18/26. Limited race day registration on 9/19/26 will be available until 7:30 AM. After this time, we cannot guarantee your registration. If you would like to donate to the race, donations will be accepted after 9/19/26.

T-Shirt: A t-shirt with the Knight logo is guaranteed for those who register by September 5, 2026. Registrations after this date will not receive a t-shirt.

Awards: Cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25 for the top 3 female and male overall finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers.

Join us, Saturday, September 26, 2026, for the third annual Johns Hopkins Children's Center Miracles in Motion 5K and 1-mile walk!

This event is a 5K Run or 1-mile walk, followed by a Critter Crawl Kids Dash, all to benefit the Johns Hopkins Children's Center! Your registration fee includes a cotton t-shirt. Participants have the opportunity to fundraise for any area of the Children's Center where they feel a personal connection.

How Does It Work?

• Select your desired gift card amount above and complete the transaction using your information (name, email, etc)

• Your voucher code is shown on-screen immediately, and delivered to you via confirmation email. Contact info for your gift recipient is not collected, so they will not receive any notification of the purchase.

• Use our customizable gift certificate template to pass along the "Voucher Code" to your gift recipient, or send them the code any way you like!

• When your gift recipient is ready to sign up for an event, they simply enter the voucher code provided to them when they reach the final step of registration. The gift certificate amount is deducted from the total. Any unused balance from the gift certificate can be used towards another Charm City Run Signature Race, and vouchers do not expire.

• To use the gift certificate, the user will enter the voucher code (provided on the confirmation page and confirmation email) on the check out page when registering for a Charm City Run Signature Race.
