Welcome to the UW-Green Bay Phoenix 5K, hosted by the Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country teams!

The Phoenix 5K is a cherished annual tradition for our UWGB Cross-Country team, and we are excited to have you join us this year! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or a passionate Phoenix fan, this event is a fun and rewarding way to get involved and show your support for the team.

This year’s 5K race will take you on a scenic journey through our state-of-the-art home course—an experience that will not only challenge you but also offer stunning views and an exciting atmosphere. Our course has been carefully designed for participants of all skill levels, making it a great way to experience our beautiful campus and cheer on the team.

This event isn’t just about running—it’s about building community! Meet the current members of the Phoenix Cross-Country team, learn more about our program, and connect with some of our talented alumni who have gone on to do great things. Whether you're here to race, cheer, or just enjoy the atmosphere, it’s a perfect day to come together and celebrate the spirit of the Phoenix!

We’re proud to say the Phoenix 5K is open to runners, walkers, and fans of all ages and abilities. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or simply enjoying a fun day with friends and family, we welcome everyone to join the race.

Arise & Run is a foot and pedal event (duathlon) September 20th, 2025 in Denmark, WI for all ages and abilities. 1, 2 or 3 person team options for relay events or bring the whole family, strollers and leashes for the free 1 mile fun run/walk only! Free childcare is provided onsite for youngsters waiting to participate in their segment. Dogs also welcome for the 1 mile, must be leashed by participants/spectators at all times. All proceeds go to Arise missions including efforts in the Denmark and surrounding area. See Facebook event for local accommodations and more!

Relay legs: 3 mile run, 11.5 mile bicycle, 1 mile run (in that order).
