Race Day: November 21, 2026

Join us for the 4th Annual Dam 5 Miler!

This race starts at the Center Hill Recreation Area, which offers a scenic vantage point of the Center Hill Dam. The run continues over Center Hill Dam towards then enters Edgar Evins State Park. As you enter the State Park, a native pollinator corridor hugs the roads as you travel to the Visitor Center Office. The route in both directions has challenging points due to road inclines.

Participants who wish to run or walk are both welcome at the Dam 5 Miler.

Awards

Finisher medals are awarded to ALL finishers.

Awards are given for:

-1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for male and female overall

-1st, 2nd and 3rd places for male and female for each age group with 10 year age brackets

-Masters Male and Female Awards (40 and up)

-Grand Masters Male and Female Awards (50 and up)

  • This race is a chip-timed race.

  • All runners receive a race t-shirt. (Late registrations receive t-shirts, if available.)

  • Finisher medals are awarded to all finishers.

  • Music is allowed.

  • There are aid stations approximately every 1.5-2 miles on the route.

Cancellations/Refunds

The Dam 5 Miler has a NO REFUND policy, with the exception of race cancellation due to public health concerns.

Packet Pick-up

Packet pickup on Friday, November 20th, will be from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. CST at 158 Resource Lane Lancaster, TN 38569.

Packet pickup on Saturday, November 21st, will be at Ike Park from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. CST.

    The Feet of Jesus Race is a community 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, 5K, and 10K designed to bring people together for movement, purpose, and impact. Whether you’re a competitive runner, casual walker, or bringing the whole family for the fun run, this event is about taking steps that matter.

    All proceeds from this race directly support Fifth Gospel Equine, a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing equine-assisted programs for individuals recovering from trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges. Through horsemanship, mentorship, and the power of the Holy Spirit, lives are being restored and hope is being rebuilt. Your participation helps make healing accessible to those who need it most.

    When you lace up your shoes, you’re not just running — you’re helping someone else take their next step toward freedom.

    All routes are designed to be welcoming for runners and walkers of varying fitness levels.

    The 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is a non-competitive event; however, all participants will receive recognition for their participation.

    Packet Pick-Up Information

    Race packet pick-up will be available on race morning from:

    6:00 AM – 6:45 AM

    Participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow adequate time for check-in before the start of their race.

    Additional early pick-up details (if offered) will be announced as they become available.

    Water Stops & On-Course Support

    Water stations and on-course aid details will be announced soon. Our goal is to provide safe and supportive hydration access along the 5K and 10K routes.

    Switching Your Distance:

    VERY IMPORTANT FOR ACCURATE RESULTS

    If you wish to change your race distance, please reach out to the race director prior to race day or during packet pick up. If you would like to defer to a shorter distance, no refund will be given for the difference in price. If you would like to upgrade distance, you will be required to pay the current rate excess your original payment.

    Runners can pick up their race packets at the Hope Adoption Agency office located at 235 W. Main Street, Cookeville, TN on Thursday or Friday, May 7-8 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Participants are also welcome to pick up race packets the morning of the race at 7:00 am. Miles for Mom will begin promptly at 8 AM, and will take you on a beautiful scenic route through Algood, TN.

In May 2026 will we have the Inaugural Fall Creek Falls Spring Sprint Triathlon! For those that have participated in the August Triathlon, this is a great opportunity to start the Triathlon season with our favorite location.

    Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers & top three male and female masters. Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over & top 3 Clydesdale & Athena as well as Top 3 Sprint Aquabike and Top Relay Team.

    Bald Eagle Events LLC have enabled event insurance for your consideration in the event you are unable to compete. Please review this option during the registration process.

    All Bald Eagle Events triathlon events are sanctioned by USA Triathlon. When a race sanctions with USAT, it is required for each participant to purchase either a one-day license or annual membership in order to participate in said event. A one-day USAT license is $15 and an annual USAT membership is $50. Either can be purchased when signing up for the event. A youth one day or annual USAT license is $10.

    Refund Policy - Bald Eagle Events LLC have a NO REFUND policy. Insurance is available during the registration of each event. Please take advantage of this option should you wish to insure your entry fees.

    Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.

    Event Cancellation / Modification Policy - If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows:

    1. Bald Eagle Events LLC in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first.

    2. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between Bald Eagle Events LLC and local officials

    3. Financial: It is not financially feasible for Bald Eagle Events LLC to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event.

    4. Bald Eagle Events LLC does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.
